Did anyone see Jinger's instagram photo of Jeremy all decked out playing golf, comparing him to Payne Stewart? Does she know who Payne Stewart was? Does she know he was killed tragically when his airplane de-pressurized and finally crashed years ago, leaving a wife and two small children?

The duggars are so boring thst I'm posting on my break from a double shift on my birthday. That is so sad.
Did everyone see the pic where jana can't even take a WALK by herself?
that's even sadder.

There is something very sad about Jana, a though the brainwashing has had such a strong effect that she can't see anything beyond being in her parent's home. Won't be long before she is in her 30's, still sleeping with the youngest children who will be teenagers, ready to marry as she stays behind. Same with her twin brother. They seem so non sexual, child like.

I just read a study about psychopaths, people who have no empathy for others, in the study, it was identified that parenting contributed to the development of psychopathy, either no parenting, or children lived in a completely controlled environment where they had to be submissive to strict rules, by rigid controlling parents.

Interesting. How to raise a psychopath...

Sabrina W said...

Perhaps Jana is not willing to painfully home birth babies on tv and act like a love sick 12 year old over some strange man daddy locates to marry her so she finds it easier to stay in safe little servants world. It's really not that bad for her since she has never experienced being free to do as she wishes. Though she is pushing 30, she's kind of like an child who has live in an orphanage her entire life with no affection or training to survive in the outside world. Same with her twin brother. Jimbob & Michelle really did a number on these 2 who remain subservient children as they watch their siblings move on with life, even though it is a restricted Gothard style life, they still have their own homes and know affection.

How can the duggars in all good faith put their stories out in people magazine? They promote themselves as having high morals and uphold christian values but I get the impression this is a tabloid rag mag (I am not in the US so please correct me if I am wrong). The are currently suing another tabloid for releasing a story which for a change was factual, it smacks of total hypocrisy on their part, they are happy to play ball on their own terms. People have most recently posted pictures of Josh and Anna playing happy families at one of their kids birthday parties, the shot is taken a large kitchen, must be their own home. Does People pay for stories/pictures, would they be a source of income for Josh or would the pictures just be lifted from DFO? Suppose it all boils down to two things publicity and money, both which would seem to override morals and values.

Heart in Florida said...

Emma: great post. People magazine isn't a 'rag; tabloid', but an entertainment personality type magazine. They do articles about people of interest. Of course, most of what IS acceptable, decent and mainstream, the Duggars find ungodly and/or offensive. Of course, they still agree to have a contract with this periodical, like their contracts with TLC network. This network highlights people who don't live according to the Duggar belief system in the least, yet they are OK with accepting money to appear on this network. We have pointed this out for some years now, but somehow, they escape these deep questions when interviewed.

Wendy Heusel said...

money overides their valuves anyday they say no but we can surely see that is so far from the truth. the duggars do not know what hard work is. some do. I know for a fact John david is probably are very hard worker as is jana. but ben and jessa not so much and Jim bod and michelle we know are not. the other kids I am not so much sure of. the father sells them out for what ever money he could get for them. it is a shame.

Linda said...

Opinions may vary. People isn't quite as trashy as the lowest tabloids. Instead of making up stories or looking for dirt, they publish "stories" that the PR people put out. It's still frequently full of lies just with a different slant.

Emma said...

Thank you heart in Florida and Linda, I wasn't sure exactly what type of magazine it was. Earlier today I read an article anbout Jennifer Garner who is apparently on the cover this week, she put out a statement saying she never gave the interview and it was all lies so I wasn't sure what type of magazine it was. Wendy I agree both John David and Jana are hard workers. If it wasn't for Jana that household would be in total chaos. I'm hoping John David has a secret bank account somewhere, and when the time is right he and Jana can escape (never gona happen but its a nice thought). Ps: love this blog, everyone posts interesting points of view and are treated with respect, and not a duggar hugger in sight, thank you sharla.

Just wanted to point out that People Magazine and TLC are not owned by the same parent company. People Magazine is part of Time Warner (NYSE: TWX), while TLC is part of Discovery Communications (Nasdaq: DISCA, DISCB, DISCK). I cannot for the life of me understand why any company would want anything to do with Josh Duggar. What is People magazine thinking putting him on their website?! I get it, we live in America where the all mighty dollar rules, but the man committed crimes against children. He should be radio active . . . no media outlet should want anything to do with him. Incidentally, I wanted to point out, he has never once expressed any sort of remorse on camera or in any written statements about the abuse he inflicted. Why is that Jim Bob and Michelle? I suspect it's because he feels he has done nothing wrong. Sick.

Daley said...

Instead of asking people for money Jill and Derick could stay home and do more good with their begging by telling people to go to https://www.samaritanspurse.org/our-ministry/gift-catalog

Instead of bankrolling the Dillards frequent airfare costs, one can choose exactly what they want their money to be spent on. $25 to build a well for a village is pretty impressive. (Much cheaper and does more good for a whole poor village than for those rich people.) Plus there are many other things to choose from for less money.

Just thinking said...

Re: Daley's comment about the Dillards staying home & doing mission work. I have been saying that every since I've seen all the Duggars going on missionary trips at Christmas time, just to take soccer balls & candy to these poor people. I have always felt that Jim Bob could teach his kids about helping people right there in AR or nearby. It was ridiculous to see them take even very small kids on those trips, which I haven't heard about since Jill & Derick took over. Apparently the two of them handle the mission work without Jim Bob & his group taking expensive commercial air flights, which I know TLC pays for, but still that money could go far for people who need more than soccer balls, candy & the little girls having their nails painted. A full stomach must feel better than a soccer ball to play with. Clean water is certainly one of the most important things needed in these countries.

A narcissistic sociopath does not do charity to help others, but does charity work, so that others can admire him or her for doing "charity work".

That is why the Duggars make as much of a show as possible when doing things for others, it is all about "The Duggars", and what they get out of it. The act of performing charity is done with as much fanfare as possible.

Quietly sending financial contributions for clean water would not have enough display for the Duggar clan. They have to spend $40,000 on travel to be filmed for five minutes digging a well.

Shgg said...

I was bored one day so I clicked on the Bontrager family blog while browsing the Duggar blog. Anyhow, when one of their sons went to CA, he went with a real mission trip and they distributed water purifiers. It showed the clean water the village now has and a very grateful lady holding that clean water. Why can't the Dillard's at least give out water purifiers so the people can have clean water to drink??

Josie said...

I have friends who do ministry work in Thailand. While most of their time is spent in Bible education, they support themselves by working as English teachers. Then they come back to the US for a few months of the year where the husband works for his dads business to make some money before going back. They have put off having children while doing this work.

As far as Im concerned, this is what ministry/ missionary work should look like. Yes, the Bible does say to preach, but it also says to "let your reasonableness be made known to all men". A reasonable person would know what they could afford and not depend on others to pay their way in life. They do not need to waste the donations given to them on these back and forth trips, they could preach at home. I think it's obvious that the purpose f their "missionary work" has nothing to do with actual Christian works.

Daley said...

Do they provide a toothbrush along with the candy they pass out? I would like to know what candy co is donating because I bet it isn't coming out of Jim Bob's pocket.

I would formally like to ask anyone who is local in Tontitown and knows the Duggars and how they have operated these past 30 years, to please come forward and kindly post here about their antics. Who exactly are Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar? Were they, or were they NOT 'just fine' financially before TLC came along? Their fans state that they did not need TLC and the income it brings them....but JB had $250,000 for his campaign in cold hard cash to invest, yet they say they lived on food and church donations to get by each month. Both can't be true.

Emma said...

Did the Dillards already name their new little blessing? I noticed on Dericks twitter account he lists himself as papa to Israel David and Samuel Scott. Don't remember any formal announcement being made, just probably missed it. Anyway if its true how totally different from Jessa Blessa stringing people along for days before revealing her kids handles, she takes longer than the royal family!

sandi said...

Jill and Derick could help out in the Appalachia's here in the US.If anyone has been there, you know what I'm talking about. It looks like a third world country in many places. There is always a need for the basics of life there.
Any good missionary knows that before preaching, you MUST meet the ppl's basic needs first. It's the same reason Jesus fed the poor and healed the sick...because they can't even HEAR you if their basic needs are not met

Tori said...

These kids really have very little going on in their lives, I mean who congratulates their brother and his fiance on the 1 week anniversary of their engagement? Jessa does. No one is graduating from real high school or college. No one is starting a new career or training. No one is heading off travelling, seeing the country or other countries (Joys honeymoon doesn't really count). Her brother got engaged at her sisters wedding a week ago and they are still trying to keep it in the news. A duggar engagement, wedding or pregnancy isn't news, its an everyday thing because it is all they do.

NWArkie said...

"JB had $250,000 for his campaign in cold hard cash to invest, yet they say they lived on food and church donations to get by each month. Both can't be true."

Sure they can. If the campaign money came from donors, it can not be used for household expenses. On the other hand, even if it came from Duggar savings, there's nothing illegal (morally questionable-yes, ethically questionable-yes, but not technically illegal) about begging for money/food for your family while you have $250k in your pocket.

Just look at Jill and Derrick - TLC/People provides more than enough income for them to pay for their own flights and housing on their "missionary" work, errrr, vacations, but they still beg for money (funny how it's never supplies, just cold, hard cash).

Tori said...

Wonder if the girls will put out a statement supporting him? That would be too much to stomach, the victims and their molestor all suing under the one lawsuit, just one big happy family yuck!

Tori said...

I just cannot wrap my head around this lawsuit. Josh confessed to molesting his sisters when Intouch first released this story. I honestly think he and his parents believed that the public would eventually forgive and forget and old golden balls would be back in the good graces and on the show. They are really so out of touch with the real world that they think we all feel like they do, and it was no big deal. They totally underestimated the publics disgust for perverts who hurt children. Jimbob in the Megan Kelly interview said he had spoken to friends of theirs and it had happened in their families too, the big difference is in their hyper christian world they believe that the girls bring this on themselves. In the real world ordinary decent citizens have zero tolerance for this abuse, and do not lay the blame at the childs door. Surely this will damage the girls case, how will the court look at the victims case when the abuser is joining in? I hope this case gets thrown out, and TLC does what it should have done two years ago, and sends them all packing.

Can we just talk about this comment for a moment? jingervuolo posted to instagram with a photo of Jeremy holding a book: "Jeremy loves books. I love Jeremy. Now I love books." What is wrong with this girl? I'm embarrassed for her. She has been so abused in childhood that she doesn't realize books are a cornerstone of the modern life, like vaccinations and pasteurized milk. It's like a lightbulb going off . . . Books and education are good. Honestly, the undoing of the homeschooling movement will be that women such as herself, graduates of the kitchen table are even more unprepared to educate their own children than her mother was to educate her. At least Michelle graduated from High School . . . wait scratch that . . . Did Michelle actually graduate from High School?

Andrea said...

Auggie: "The boys' room & their bunk beds, however, must look like a minimum security prison ward."

I LOVE your comment. So true and very amusing to think about ;)

Heart in Florida said...

Is Josh opening a separate case or does he wish to join his sisters as plaintiffs in THEIR suit against those magazines and the local officials offices? How in the world can the 'guilty party' join in a lawsuit WITH HIS VICTIMS? What planet do these people live on?

I'm still confused about Joy and Jessa's 'not a big deal' statement about what Josh did to them, then it IS a big deal because it was released and the public was able to figure out who the 4 victims were? I also would like to know why a single person, isn't viewed as an individual with any brain cells or rights until she's married? Obviously, Jill and Jessa spoke in that interview because they were married and were allowed to do so? It is a sick system these people live in....voluntarily.

Beyond Furious said...

I cannot believe Josh is intervening in his sisters lawsuit. This has Jim Bob written all over it. And where is Michelle is all this, protecting her daughters as well as the married girls husbands? He has admitted this sexual abuse of his sisters & now he wants to profit off of his actions. If this isn't enough for viewers to say enough is enough they will go on forever. He's upset about his reputation & being referred to as a pariah. No he's not he's again looking for the almighty dollar, just like his father. They are also looking for publicity. This should be the end of them & their "Ministry." It's up to the viewers now.

Emma said...

Daddy didn't go in for all that fancy book learnun! Maybe just maybe if she picks up a book or three she might just realise how bat shit crazy she was raised. I hope Jeremy insists their own kids go to real school and get a decent education, and while hes at it encourage Jinger to take a few classes.

Dar said...

I just cannot get my head around Josh intervening in the lawsuit. He is upset that the girls were receiving sympathy. Also upset that he has become a pariah. With what kind of mental deficiency does this man live ? His parents are complicit in minimizing the situation. They also might have put other little girls in jeopardy by not having him go for any help. It reeks of misogamy. His sisters were just not important enough. It was necessary to protect Josh. They even allowed Anna to enter into a marriage with someone who couldn't be trusted. It speaks volumes when the girls were so outraged that the show was cancelled because of the situation. This is a sick family. Money now seems to be the bottom line. I also think this action is the first step into Josh being included into the "Counting On Show" .

Why Not said...

Why doesn't TLC sue Josh Duggar under a morals clause? Visiting prostitutes, cheating, on his wife, all these things happened while he was on one of their shows.

Rainy Days said...

If the Duggars continue to have any type of TV show, then it's the fault of the viewers. We have seen that TLC doesn't care about how the girls have been treated. They cancelled 19 Kids & Counting & promised they were done with the Duggars. That was for a few months. That show has been a money maker for them for so long, now they are us like the Duggars & feel viewers will still continue to watch. I give credit to the sponsor's who left. It's now time for viewers to leave. Those who watch only encourage things like this crazy lawsuit.

Emma said...

Just read over on pickles page that Josh's attorney is none other than Travis Story, the lawyer who owns the company who bought Josh's house when his cheating scandals broke and they were afraid Anna might leave him and file for a divorce. I'm not overly familiar with the American justice system, and I know laws can vary from state to state, but would this not be a huge conflict if interest? Also could the defendants team raise this as an issue? If this has only just been filed how long will it take for it to be heard, just wondering because I am sure at least 3 of these girls could all be big and pregnant by the time it reaches court, hoping for some extra sympathy. Also sure Anna will arrive everyday babe in arms. Didn't think they could stoop any lower, once again Josh proves us all wrong!

Elspeth said...

It's about understanding legal documents with Josh and Anna's house. The law firm did not BUY the house. They set up the trust and were listed as the point of contact.

Mindi said...

People keep writing about how the Duggars will be under sworn testimony & have to tell the truth on the stand. Why in the world would anyone think that just because they are in a court of law under oath they would actually tell the truth? They have lied for years & they don't care whether they are under oath or not. Jim Bob will be telling them, they have to prove you're lying & they can't do that.

Paula Reed said...

Josh may have a case there. Just think how we would all think of him now if this molestation case hadn't seen the light of day. We would have nothing to talk about other than this cheating on his wife with hookers. His reputation sure did suffer!

My Opinion said...

Come on TLC this lawsuit should be the end of the Duggars. If not,you are further hurting the young women & showing that you care not one bit about sexual abuse of women & children. Step up & do the right thing this once when it comes to the Duggars. If not, you are no better, in fact worse than they are.

Emma said...

Elspeth thank you for pointing this out, but could you please explain what setting up a trust means, who actually owns the house, is it one of Josh's assets? Mindi while I totally agree with you, the Duggars have been caught out on many lies by viewers. Intouch magazine in particular will have high powered attorneys that will be skilled at questioning people and getting to the truth. I hope the full truth does comes out and all the fans who so rabidly defend Josh finally get to see the real him.

Elspeth said...

For information about how trusts work, it would be better if you looked it up. There are multitudes of articles about setting up trusts and how they function.

Just wondering if the entire Duggar clan will show up at court...cause you KNOW that Michelle ain't gonna babysit!!! So unless Jana stays home with the kids, they will all put on their big hair bows and go I guess. Josie will get to sit up front in the very best seat, or at least on Jim Bob's knee. The other little girls will come with scraggly, dirty hair. Jill and Anna can wear their proud and pregnant, stretched out, non maternity clothes.
Of course I suppose it is possible that the young children will be left at home due to the adult topics that will be discussed. Gotta appear modest, you know. Either way, it will be interesting. As a Christian, I am praying for JUSTICE.

I love the blog. Sharla does such a wonderful job. However, I can't wait for the day that it becomes like the Gosselin Blog, due to lack of interest, in Kate & the children. We can only hope that will happen with the Duggars & the younger kids will not be subjected to all this terrible publicity, that will most certainly ruin their lives.

Sandi, the Duggars are also excellent dancers though they claim that dancing is against their religion....they dance around the truth, the facts and use flowery language to "not say' exactly what is what.
Remember when Michelle was asked on the show about why all the girls are crammed in to one bedroom when they are building their own custom house? Why not have fewer in each room? Michelle danced very well that night on the show...she said that they 'asked the girls and they wanted to be in the same room all together....because they like to stay up late and talk...you know, girl things." Well, I'm sure they wanted to stay all together not to talk and 'girl things', but to feel safety in numbers so their brother might not sneak in their room and have his way....they alwo stay up late in their room because they were nervous to fall asleep. THAT WAS THE REAL TRUTH. They'll try to dance again if they're questioned about either of these court cases, just watch..it'll happen, that's how they live.

15 year old Josh Duggar was a sexual predator, end of. Recently Jimbob has stated that 'its happened in a lot of families' Yes, he actually tries to normalize sexual assault, and unfortunately he is right. Gothard/Quiverfull followers do seem to experience a higher level of sexual abuse in their homes. Reading accounts of Gothard cult survivors on the Recovering Grace website seems to confirm this. Maybe it's the constant, unrelenting fixation on becoming sexually aroused that causes this. This cult is sick and dangerous. They have become very wealthy, peddling their boring lives, to a world they despise. Stop watching.

Aunt Bea said...

Personally, I think Josh, too, is suing the wrong people. He should be suing his parents for putting them on TV risking his 'delicate history' being made known. He also should be suing them for their controversial public statements which drew hurtful eyes to a large group of people, gay people, sinners 'out there', etc. If they weren't on TV, the "Alice post" would have never been on a blog that would have never been there and no one would have tipped Oprah Winfrey's staff off; and no one would have requested a most likely long ago forgotten file with an incomplete case report in it.
The daughters should sue their parents too; not a publication whose objective is to get news and information out there. The officials must have checked with their legal team and have gone through the proper channels to release anything in the first place.

OTH said...

On the other website, Kendra talks about helping herself into Joseph's pocket and getting a mint and almost discovering the ring. He said he hand to shoo her hand away, so therefore was wearing the jacket. That to me, seems a little invasive for two people who haven't even held hands yet. Or maybe they don't follow the strict rules and have held hands or even kissed already? But if that was the case, how would courting be any diff from being engaged?

everythingieverwanted said...

I would agree with Sandi that she is due pretty soon. I just watched a video that was recorded when the Keller kids surprised their mom on Mother's Day and Josh and Anna and kids were there. Anna looked like she only had a couple of months to go then and, quite frankly looked pretty uncomfortable walking already.

Emma said...

Has anyone here seen the youtube clip by David Waller of the Keller kids, spouses and grandkids all sneaking up on the Kellar Snr trailer in Florida. They all got togther to surprise Mrs Kellar for mothers day. They all piled out of various vehicles, and at the back was the ever expanding Josh. Now correct me if I am wrong but did the Duggars not say that part of Josh's plan to stay on the path of righteousness (and to keep him away from internet porn) was no access to a smart phone? What did he have in his hand? You guessed a smart phone, and he kept it in his hand the whole time filming. Once again the Duggars say one thing but then do the complete opposite. They just can't get their story straight, or be truthful. The defence lawyers are going to make mince meat out of him. They have told so many lies and tall tales, especially since the scandals all broke that I am sure they are going to trip themselves up in court. I hope JB, M and Josh all get caught lying under oath and are exposed for what they really are.

It's Me said...

Emma RE: Keller family reunion. I have seen some pictures on David and Priscilla's blog from the reunion. What I can't get over is the fact that the Kellers allow Josh to their home after what he did to their daughter. I think Anna's brother, Daniel, was there too. I bet that was interesting.

Don't believe them said...

Re: Emma's comment about he Duggrs not being able to lie under oath. Jim Bob & his PR team will convince everyone that they can indeed lie under oath. Who really knows if someone is telling the truth? We know the Duggars think the Duggars can get away with anything they want to. They lied in the Megan Kelly interview that was televised & everyone knew it. I don't believe that everyone that takes the stand & swears under oath, is actually telling the truth. All they have to do is stick together & rehearse & rehearse until they have their story down pat. It's disgusting but I'm afraid it's true.

Heart in Florida said...

Perhaps that smartphone that was in Josh's hands was Anna's. I noticed that too in that video. I have to say one thing about David Waller; he does seem to respect Priscilla's parents and makes sure she and the children visit with them. That's nice.

It is disgusting that Josh is on camera, with his victims, no less. This family is beyond dysfunctional. So is TLC.

Missy said...

People think that the Duggars won't lie under oath. All you need to do is see Josh & his smartphone, which he is not supposed to have, due to his addiction to porn & that tells you that they will always lie, & do whatever servers them best

Re:lisamcgingess's comment about Jim Bob possible cheating on Michelle. I have always thought that myself. I believe the apple doesn't fall from from the tree & I don't trust Jim Bob as far as he can be seen. Josh is a carbon copy of his father.

Emma said...

Don't Believe them: I know exactly what you are saying but if the defence ask specific questions which the Duggars have already answered in the media, but they give a different answer in court then they will be caught in the lie. For example during the Fox interview the girls said that they didn't know about the abuse until their parents told them, yet in the police report they gave details so obviously knew. As others have said they won't know the questions and have a scripted reply rehearsed this time, I just think it is going to be interesting to hear how they answer questions put to them by educated people, who will call them out on every little detail.

The scandal started when it came out that Josh molested his sisters. Then Josh himself admitted he had cheated on his wife, who must have been pregnant sometime during this time. Also he admitted to being addicted to porn, although one minute he's addicted & the next he never said that. All the while, he's showing his younger brothers & sisters how to lead a Godly, Christian life while showing TV viewers the Ministry they follow.

sandi said...

Josh didn't admit he cheated until he was exposed by the Ashley Madison website hack.Obviously,he wasn't going to,and just did so because he was caught.
That leads one to wonder, why isn't he suing Ashley M.,unless there was some type of settlement for those exposed.Would that be too much exposure for his deeds?

The Duggars have always been scripted and deceitful when speaking to the public. However, it's my opinion that Michelle is not quite as dishonest as her husband. Instead, she seems to rely on her gift of gab when confronted. Jim Bob is a little more bold with his lies, thinks he's smarter than everyone around him. Josh KNOWS that HE is smarter than everyone else. This may very well be their undoing when it's time to tell the whole, real truth. It will be interesting. This is just my opinion, though. Love to know how the rest of you view these three and the differences, if any, in how they fib.

In his April 9 sermon, Jeremy had a lot to say about unqualified missionaries who don't want to work, aren't qualified, and do more harm than good. He even mentions Nepal. It is on YouTube and the interesting stuff begins about 20 minutes in.

From: Martha Washington

Nadia said...

Dillard isn't going to be too happy with Jeremy's assessment of unqualified missionaries. Could he be talking about Jill & Derrick's vacassionary work?

Heart in Florida said...

As an Italian and a Catholic CHRISTIAN, Jeremy needs to shut up and stop short of calling the religion of his own kind a pagan religion. Hasn't he read anything on the origin of Christianity? This guy is insulting me personally now and it's not right. He is my son's age and still has a lot of life to learn yet. Read a few Catholic books, dear Jeremy, perhaps the Catechism of the Catholic Church, or even better yet, "Catholicism For Idiots" . It explains commonly asked questions and common misconceptions in plain English...perhaps Jinger would understand it also; since she's at most likely a 6th grade reading level.

Nadia said...

Jeremy is jut another one of the Catholic haters.......Unemployed Benboy, Dizzy Dillard and now Jeremy. If any religion is pagan, it's got to be the religion of the god Jimbob. Women cover up thy legs, stay home, suffer birthing babies at home, obey your authority figure husband, etc. I was hoping Jeremy would be different for Jinger's sake but obviously he is just another Duggar clone.

Bebe said...

Jeremy's comments might be part of the rift between the sisters. Sites are reporting that Jill and Derek aren't following Jinger and Jeremy on social media. Idk. I doubt he'd be saying all this if there wasn't something going on in the family.
Anyone else read Jingers comments about how "since Jeremy likes book I guess I like books too" That is one of the saddest things I've read. How sheltered and closed minded do you have to be and still continue to be to have all your choice made by everyone else. It's nice to see Jinger expanding as a person but she still isn't her own person.

Jeremy knows better--he graduated from Syracuse University, a Catholic college.

Martha Washington: There is definately something going on between the Dillards and the Vuolos or at least Jeremy and Derick. While I think Jeremy is every bit as bigoted as the duggars in some areas, in others he is more liberal (with a very small l). He has been on at least one missioncation that we know of, pictures show him with the Duggars before he was courting Jinger. He probably got to see how useless they were, not doing anything practical to help, just preaching, painting nails and handing out candy. I am sure he also is aware of the Dillards begging for money to do this 'important missionary work' and the backlash from the public. Derick and Jill like to think of themselves as paragons of virtue, they think they are a cut above other christians, I don't think this sits well with Jeremy. The Dillards were rejected to be missionaries by the board of southern baptists churches due to their lack of education, but that didn't stop them, old Jimbob no doubt intervened with his pals at SOS and suddenly they are in central america annoying the locals. I hope Jeremy continues to point out the error of the Dillards hypocritical ways, although I am sure he will record the usual 'congratualtions we are so happy for you guys' message when little Sammy arrives, just to keep up apoearances!

Heart in Florida said...

I have noticed, instead of answering a direct question directly, Jim Bob uses a 're-direct' approach. He circumvents the question and brings 'other facts' in to his response. The person asking the question is requiring an answer, not a response. It's a noticeable tactic he uses and I don't think he can get away with it much longer as it's obvious now.

Heart in Florida said...

Sorry, that's "Catholicism For Dummies" by Fathers Trigilio and Brighanti; they have multiple degrees in theology etc. They really are experts in their field...I read it myself.

Jinger's comment about books is amazing, as if in her mid 20's she has just discovered there are books in this world other then the bible and Gothard approved religious fliers. How shocking it is that she must announce she has discovered books when they are part of everyone's life since they were toddlers. I wonder if this woman will be home schooling her children with such limited knowledge. I doubt Jill or Jessa are anymore educated and capable of educating children.

dinda said...

The Duggars needs some infighting, such as a rift between the sisters to keep this family a little bit more interesting. I bet there is drama and tension we do not know of between the sisters. Jealous Jessa is most likely envious that Jinger is married to a man, not a hapless boy like she must contend with. Jill is stuck with a sickly looking, delusional man who drags her into lonely and dangerous living so she must be wishing she had a healthy, washed man who gives a thought about her comfort and mental well being. So yes, the infighting of the sisters must be in full force. What's up with Anna? She seems to be the one left out, alone with the pudgy cheater Josh, no life, no friends, far from family and ready to home birth her 5th baby and still in her 20's.

I have to admit that now I really do not like Jeremy Vuolo. Catholic bashing by this guy along with Mr. Half A Brain Cell Seewald is really not necessary and not at all Christian-like. And as a young man of Italian descent he should be ashamed. I have family members who didnt agree with our Catholic upbringing and left the church, but they NEVER called us 'pagans'.

betsy said...

Jeremy Vuolo is disappointing so quickly. I do not believe it is Christian to call other denominations names, such as pagan. He is quickly showing his true colors, another hypocritical, better then others Duggar man. Face it.....he really does not have a job just preaching to a congregation of about 25 people he's somehow conned into attending services. He's no better then the delusional missonary Dillard or househusband with nothing to do but post hate toward Catholics on the internet, Mr. failed Christian rapper Ben. What a group of jobless, egotistical son-in-laws Jimbob has pushed on his daughters.

If Ben and Jessa got a nice chunk of change from People for their engagement and wedding photos, Honeymoon, baby pictures, baby naming and more why would Ben ever have to work? When they need money she just gets pregnant. They can Live off that.

Jill and Derick....that is a whole 'nother story.

Aunt Bea said...

I am still upset with Jeremy and his incorrect assessment of the Catholic religion. A faith that was founded by and is centered on Jesus cannot be pagan. Everything we pray is in the name of Jesus and/or the Blessed Trinity, God, the Father, God, the Son,(Jesus) and God, the Holy Spirit. Pagan you say, Jeremy?...It was God Himself, who gave sculptors their talent to sculpt beautiful works of art that were done to honor God. Those religious statues came from a desire to worship the Almighty, especially in a day where most of the people were illiterate and had no written books to read in the first place; lessons about God were told through works of art for the people to see and learn.
Saints?...they are people who lived on this earth just like us who either lived an exemplary life of faith, suffered and died for it, or overcame a very sinful life and completely changed it for the glory and honor of God. Didn't DerickDillardDuggar ask JIM BOB DUGGAR to be his prayer partner? Well, that's what saints are for us...they are our spiritual prayer partners. We ask them to pray FOR US and WITH US to God, the Father, through Jesus Christ, His Son, our savior and redeemer. How is asking Jim Bob Duggar to be your prayer partner any different than asking a saint, who is already in the next world, and closer to the Almighty to pray for us bad? Grow up and learn about the faith of your own ancestors, you snit.

Even though I can't (won't) watch the show anymore, it would be interesting to see these teens & 20 somethings go to some job training seminar to learn how to put together a resume, prepare for a job interview and how to make cold calls looking for job opportunities. We can't know what is really going on in that home, but it's doubtful that any of the Duggars is remotely interested in getting off the compound to enter the workforce in the real world. Getting a job would mean adjusting to a boss's shift assignment schedule -- not Duggartime.

Josie said...

I remember how the Duggars always had those insipiritaional wall stencils everywhere. So, I was thinking I would send a nice one to each of the married couples with 2 Timothy 5:8 on it:

"Certainly if anyone does not provide for those who are his own, and especially for those who are members of his household, he has disowned the faith and is worse than a person without faith"

Maybe that will get those 'Christian" men motivated to get actual jobs!!

Meme said...

Agree, Big Kite! Whether or not these guys NEED to work is not really the issue.

They have money. So what? "Stuff" happens and tomorrow is another day. People who have lots more than the Duggars lose theirs every day. These guys are young, able bodied and in their prime. Why aren't they taking some of that cash and investing it in a business or skill that will support all those children? Where is the burning desire to make a personal mark in the world? Something is very wrong when young men have no ambition, no drive. WHAT do they do with their time and youthful energy?

Ben seems to be the worst, with Derick running a close second. Jeremy is older and has a strong father. Where is Ben's dad in all of this? Why isn't he kicking Ben's.....um....why isn't he rumpling Ben's hair and telling him to get to work? Shake his shoulders, Dad! I just wonder where the self-respect went.

Nadia said...

Josie......I can see the Duggar men twisting the Timothy 5.8 to mean providing guidance and rules to their wives and children. You know how Jimbob always picks and chooses bible verses out of context to support his control of his family such as venture out into the sinful world in 2's.

Peace of mind you can't buy.

Betsy said...

There is no reason why all of the Duggar adult children cannot start a business on the huge Duggar acreage, such as a Christmas tree farm. All they would have to do is plant the seedling trees, fertilize a few times a year and trim them once a year. They could do this simple work on Duggar time since they cannot be trusted to show up in real time. The girls could create religious Christmas tree ornaments and manger scenes to sell in a little Christmas shop on the property, always staffed by at least 2 Duggars to avoid any inappropriate contact with customers. This is just one idea that comes off the top of my head. There must be many more possible businesses the idle Duggars can accomplish. Another one is coming to mind....they could plant a pumpkin field, selling pumpkins and autumn wreaths the girls create in the fall before the Christmas tree season. Don't they have equipment to prepare the land for such ventures? I wish I had that land to utilize.

Gerti said...

Meme......seems like the son in laws reject their parents and fall into the easy Duggar lazy life. Maybe Ben's father has had a serious discussion with him and he's turned a deaf ear to his dadm preferring to sit around wearing his glasses and posting photos of himself trying to appear intellectual, giving the world a piece of advice here and there.....remember the one about it is good to take a walk !!! Regarding investing money in a business and watching it grow for the children requires contact with the sinful and pagan outside world. We must remember that there will be no schooling for the grandchildren, therefore no careers and no ability to manage investments. So this is their world...live for today and God will provide.....or is it People Magazine, TLC and donations will provide??

I don't agree with their bashing, but I think (?) the Methodist church may be an offshoot of the Catholic faith;someone correct me if I'm wrong.Unlike the D's,I'm willing to be corrected.

Even so,I wonder why tlc would even allow the D's to speak that way against them.Surely there must be a clause in there somewhere,as to their behavior offscreen. It is certainly something that would cause them to lose viewers.
Even moreso, since the Little Couple is Catholic, and most everyone loves them.Jmo

Johanna is still pretty young and Jim Bob probably hired Laura since they are close in age and keep Jana from being depressed with all the adults sisters married. On their Facebook page, a few weeks back, it showed Jana and Laura and a bunch of kids going for a walk. It was headed by Jana, going for an afternoon walk and found a bunch of people who wanted to come too. I wonder if she truly never gets any alone time, ever. I would go crazy!

Jinger may wearshorts, but Jeremy obviously has't changed some of the core views. I can get it about the indirect hint at the DIllards' fake mission trips, but I will give Derick credit this week for actually cooking a meal though the salmon looked more like a sponge. Jana is a prisoner in her own family. I'm reading articles about Josh's Ashley Madison lawsuit, and many commenters are very sympathetic toward Anna. I'm sorry she's in this mess, but when does the victim of a cult begin to be a perpetrator of the cult? We see that prior to Josh's deeds becoming public she was very much enjoying her life, traveling the country spreading Josh's hate group message, oversharing on tv. Never once in that time did I see her as a reluctant participant in the show. We have seen her put her kids in that horrible IBLP schooling system, insert the kids into anything and everything Duggar imaginable, and yet she is still the victim? I realize she is brainwashed and indoctrinated, but can't we look at almost any perpetrator the same way? She is an adult woman riding the gravy train, participating in hate speech, putting her kids into the same mess she was raised in. She's seen the world, so at what point does she become complicit into harming her kids?

Again, why do the Duggars use it, as if they dress or look a certain way they will be defrauding males? I don't get the connection. Of course the Duggars may be correct in the use of the word & Webster's Dictionary may be completely wrong.

Great post Wednesday! You are absolutely correct in your assessment of Anna. It's a disgrace that those children will be raised in that cult. Yes Anna has had all the good things that come along with being a Duggar & a celebrity. All the trips all over the world which she didn't even appreciate. If fact, none of them did. They actually made fun of people & places where they visited, including all the free food.

These boys, including Jeremy with his sudden little church (most likely created to give the unemployed man some credibility), should be ashamed of themselves but seems like none of the Duggars have any shame in what they say or do...the begging for money, the lack of real jobs and the holier then thou attitude. Every week there is something disturbing coming from the Duggar world.

Regarding Dumb Duggars: The natural curiosity of a child was knocked out of the Duggar kids starting with blanket training as babies. They are encouraged to fear the outside world yet poke fun at people different then themselves, following Jimbob's lead instead of embracing the opportunity to learn. The children could be at the most historic and interesting site but Jimbob does not keep the children under control, respecting their guides and the opportunity to learn something. They run around wildly. Jimbob failed as a parent in many ways because he is of low intelligence. The kids have ended up ignorant without the capacity to learn and appreciate anything but their tatertot casserole food and sitting together as adults doing jigsaw puzzles waiting for daddy to set them up with an arrange marriage. Anna has gone down hill becoming a Duggar. As a teenager, it is reported she helped her dad in prison ministry, was out in the world more but the Duggars encouraged her to be barefoot and pregnant, 5 times now. They have her control, blaming herself for Josh's cheating and trying to please by quickly having this latest baby. What a mess this family turned out to be. Years ago, it was fun to watch the little kids but who would have guessed the Duggars would end up as they have.

Marla Ann said...

People were happy for Jinger when Jeremy was opening new doors for her such as wearing pants & shorts, introducing her to the world of books, LOL, and new foods other then the cheap Duggar grease and carb dishes she was accustomed to. How sad to see he's no better then the other Duggar boy/men, spouting off about subjects they know little about, showing their ignorance and hate of anyone not exactly like them. Actually, this is how bloody religious wars are created by promoting the intolerance of another religion. It will be interesting to see how this all fits together for Jeremy as I feel his little congregation was created as a stepping stone to fame and fortune, the real reason for his marriage to any Duggar girl. Don't you think he would have married Jana first but she refused so Jinger was given to him, Joy being too young for this much older man.

Bird said...

I wonder if Jeremy's family will hop aboard the Duggar money train, or will they have too much respect for themselves to be seen on tv with them? Does anyone know where Ben's parents are?

The word "defraud" actually correctly describes Jimbob's life, getting free stuff when he can afford to pay and Dillard's begging for money for a ministry that does nothing but fly him bck and forth from Central America and pays for the expenses of his personal living. It has nothing to do with what people wear that might excite overly protected Duggar boys. Remember NIKE!!!! and hang your head boys....do not look. Oh, this family is really craaaazzzzzy.

Kate said...

Yes, the whole paying a girl to watch Jana is disgusting! But it does look to be true, because she is with Jana all the time. It is like Jana is a true prisoner. Not one minute of alone time allowed for a woman who is about 2 and a half yrs. shy of being 30! Remember it was Jana and Jill that were paired together. Then Jana and Joy. So now that Joy is married JB had to get a replacement. But how come John David can do things on his own? Being a constable, he was probably on his own many times.

Jackie said...

The new girl is probably just another substitute sister-mom to help Jana rear all those kids of hers...um, I mean siblings of hers. Michelle is far too busy with Jim-Bob to help Jana out. Michelle might be the biological mother, but Jana is the mom those kids run to when they need help & comfort.

Marla said...

I do not think the Duggars want inlaws to jump on board the gravy train and take away any glory from them. Plus the husbands are content in their newly discovered lazy Duggar world afforded by checks from TLC & magaine interviews. When were Benboy's parents ever filmed seeing the new baby?

Hildy said...

Jimbob is obviously paying some girl to watch Jana but could Jana and her watcher break out and have a little fun on their own without Jimbob knowing? Wouldn't that be wonderful for Jana but honestly, I think she is the most brainwashed of them all, will suddenly be 45 years old, childless & never knowing the love of a man but secure in the fact she is still sweet and heaven bound.

Who Knows said...

As far as the word defraud goes, that was used when the Duggars first made their appearances on one or two specials a year. It may be true now in reference to Jim Bob getting all the free stuff, as well as the Dillard begging for people to support them, but it wasn't in the beginning. I remember Michelle going on & on about how she preferred that people pay attention to her face instead of her defrauding people by the way she dressed. She said the same about the girls & the way they dressed back in the day when they wore those long denim skirts or bib dresses.

Dumb Duggars said...

Re:Nancy G. comments I totally agree with everything you said. Just one exception Anna also had a miscarriage, so she has actually been pregnant 6 times. She told the women at the prison when she & Josh went there with her father that she knew how difficult life was, as she had just suffered a miscarriage. I'm sure the women who were in prison felt sorry for her going through such a trumatic event. Disgusting isn't it?

ursella said...

Who Knows..Looking at Michelle's face is looking at a wild eyed woman with a little child's voice coming out of her mouth topped off with a hairdo that looks like it was created with a hand held kitchen mixer. The Duggars need to purchase a dictionary or at least ask for a donation of one. The way the girls dressed brought attention to them, rather then away from them. Now people look at Michelle and wonder why she still wears those out of date blouses, especially the green one.

Patty Nelson said...

I do not think it is very modest of the girls, dressed in long skirts to wear super tight shirts when pregnant to show off their growing "tummy" as Michelle would say, so proud to show such huge "baby bumps" and swollen boobs, as if they invented pregnancy. Speaking of modest dressing and not bringing attention to your body, the Duggars encouraged Anna to expose herself to camera men during the toilet birth. Jeremy should try this instead of bashing Catholics:
"You see, it’s not all about being pious or reverent. It’s about reaching out to others in genuine concern and compassion. It’s about offering to help someone with a problem. It’s about accompanying someone through a difficult time without expecting any reward or any thanks. These “door openers” help place the love of Christ and the fruit of the Spirit front and center. At the same time, they show that we aren’t trying to impose our religious views on anyone; we’re just trying to love as Jesus loves."

Do the Duggars really think they're going to get converts to fundamentalism by bashing the Catholic religion? It appears all they're doing is causing ppl to turn even more against them.
I can't help but notice that the Dillard's and the Vuolo's seem to be strategically placed near Catholic areas, where they can attempt to convert others.Only Ben and Josh's family are not near such places.Josh has to keep quiet, and the only thing Ben can do is prattle on via the net about Catholics,so that he does.
Since JB and M tend to stay quiet about the matter,I can't help but think Jb is telling them what to say and do.Jmo

Catholicism is not a religion. Christianity is a religion. Catholicism is a branch of Christianity.

Catholic Devotional: Well said and I agree that all should behave as such. I wish someone would read this to the Duggars then ask for their opinion on it and ask them why they don't follow this beautiful sentiment?

Jeremy..It is so easy .......just help the disadvantaged, give of your time to help others.
Quit the babble against Catholics and whoever else is on your list to hate. Do some Habitat for Humanity house building, teach people to read, serve dinners to homeless, get out there and help plant vegetable gardens to feed the needy. It would be good if Jinger could help too. I'm so sick and tired of the holier then thou Duggers & Dugger husbands doing nothing but stirring up hate and not even working for a living.

I didn't watch the whole Joy episode, but I landed there for a brief moment. Did I interpret correctly that Jill seemed apologetic for her morning sickness as it caused hardship in their new marriage?

Jeremy is attempting to pull Catholics out of those parishes and have them attend HIS church. He is full of himself and loves the sound of his own voice. He believes that he knows much more than he actually does know. He should be pulling pagans and atheists in to a church...any church, really. Let those decisions as to "what church' a questioning non believer has be up to them, but draw them to GOD, not your as their pastor. Shame on him and shame on him for name calling his own heritage of faith.

Ok so... At some point I read that Jeremy's dad helps Amish people (who leave their community) to adjust and integrate into regular society. My suspicion is that he (and Jeremy) have been using those techniques in counseling Jinj to adjust out of that legalistic environment

On Deena Dillard's instagram she said she enjoyed celebrating "baby Samuel's" sprinkle with a pic of Jill. Did the name slip? Not sure if it was mentioned here already.

Jeremy throwing shade at Derick and Jill for being unprepared missionaries is priceless (and true). Looks like Michelle has weighed into the fray. On their facebook they posted a thought from Michelle about bitterness. In it she says that bitterness causes us to judge unkowingly and hurt others, so whos side is she on? Is she on Jeremy's side because she knows what a huge fake and grifter Derick is? I mean he took her daughter and grandson to the dangerous jungle, he has no job to support them, and he begs for money from strangers. Or is she on Dericks side because Jeremy is too wordly and is pointing out to the world what we already know about the Dillards? I am sure she would be on the Dillards side what with them being so selfless and all the good deeds they do to make life a little easier for the poor people of El Salvador!! I think she really needs to talk to her eldest son about bitterness. It is bitterness (and the prospect of money) that has him jumping on his sisters lawsuit bandwagon. He sounded very bitter that his sisters got sympathy for their abuse but he as their attacker got none. I also think that the older Duggars are quite bitter in general because they have been exposed for everyone to see what they really are, and are watched and called out on all their hypocritical shennanigans. Preaching, like charity begins at home Michelle, as your fans would say clean your own doorstep first!

Heart in Florida said...

Jill and Derick are terrible parents. They actually expect Israel to behave like he's a 5 year old. He was 18 months old in the episode the other evening. He's not going to understand 'a baby in mommy's tummy'. Jill, get real, Derick, let him be a toddler.

Aunt Bea said...

Emma, Michelle and the Duggars need to take their own advice and drop that lawsuit. They should not be bitter about that situation nor should they harbor any retaliation against the local authorities as they are doing. They also are harming the people in their own community as it is their tax dollars that will fill the Duggar daughters' coffers. If it wasn't such a big deal to Jessa and Jill when it occurred, why is it a big deal now that more people know about it. They went on TV and promoted it more.

Michelle & Jimbob's poor parenting is popping up in many ways now. Lack of education, thoughts and ideas of their own, no ambition are all destroying the older girls plus Dillard and Ben who have jumped on the "lazy" bandwagon. The younger children and grandchildren will be worse off, even more delayed in development without education, social contact and not having to keep a schedule (which is required in "real life".) Michelle so often states, they absorb education from just hanging around, are talented in so many fields...lately the older boy seems to have acquired musical director talents having to show that off at Joy's wedding. Could be that Justin will put them all to shame with a good work ethic, earning money flipping houses with Joy by his side like a normal husband and wife? I don't know what to think of Jeremy as he's suddenly spouting out hate toward another Christian religion. He is so egotistical with his theatrically planned videos on the internet. I just don't like him anymore. When are these "servant's hearts" going to actually do something helpful for the less fortunate. I sure don't mean Dillard who is using the CA villagers as props to gather up donations. Those donations should be going toward a substantial cause, such as clean water and whatever else they lack.

Hildy said...

Regading Jill and Derick as parents, they have shown their abuse toward Israel in the past, Derick recently accused the child of being manipulative. Israel has acquired the dead eye look already. I feel Jill is unhappy & impatient, expecting too much from a baby (remember the cruel screaming blanket binding) and Derick is a harsh, delusional taskmaster father, hellbent on showing his authority. This is not a good combination to have as parents.

Marla said...

Jimbob is loosing control of his adult children with Jeremy making remarks about unprepared missionaries & even allowing Jinger to wear a pants, Dilard taking JB's fav muffin girl into the jungle far away, Josh's continual embarrassing behavior. This all has to be taking a toll on Jimbob. It's not the sweet little family anymore but a gaggle of adults who are either financial burdens due to refusal to work or those like Josh & Jeremy who have wills of their own he cannot control.

Emma said...

Hildy; Don't forget they also said Israel thought he was the center of the universe because he wanted milk or a banana and couldn't wait. Hes two for goodness sake, every two year old thinks they are the centre of the universe. For Jill to have 'mothered' so many of her siblings she has no understanding of even basic child psychology. Derick really has taken the head of the household/ authority holder cult nonsense to heart, everyone had such high hope when he married Jill, but he morphed into one of them.

Let me get this straight. Jeremy gave a sermon about unprepared missionaries and fake missionaries that even their local church won't support? And he has the audacity to mention Nepal??? Wow, that takes nerve, really. Not sure if Jill figured this out, but I am sure Derrick has. Maybe there is a feud there. I can see why. Not that I don't agree with Jeremy, but why would you want to cause a rift in your new wife's family? Pretty arrogant actually. He and Jinger had only been married 5 months when he recorded this sermon in April.

Frannie D. said...

Jill & Derick, give Israel love and attention. Stop criticizing him for all to see. You seem like bullies. Israel is not a manipulative child or selfishly thinking of himself when he is hungry. He is a 2 year old child, sometimes hungry, sometimes tired but always needing caring parents. If you want to see selfish, manipulative people, look in the mirror, especially after opening up your donations from hard working people. I hope the Dillards are not putting little Israel outdoors or withholding food as the "Raising up a Child" book recommends. Children should be able to come to their parents for their needs and love, not be afraid of harsh punishments. We all know he has endured the dreaded blanket training plus tight bundling as training punishments. What in the world will this couple do when they have the added burden of another bundle of joy to deal with and Israel may show a bit of jealousy, as a 2 year old does. I hope Derick is not hitting him with sticks already as also prescribed in the book. The sweet looking man Derick was is long gone and someone who looks sick & delusional has taken his place. Wouldn't it have been so much better for Jill and Derick to date for a year so Jill might have discovered the real Derick before hooking up for like? this goes for all of the daughters. Look at useless Ben and now the emerging Catholic hater.

I refuse to watch the Duggars anymore, but I did watch Jeremy's sermon on YouTube. Boy did he give it to the Dillard's. It was hilarious. Ok there's one of two scenarios at play here. Either Jeremy is genuinely outraged as a Christian at the Dillard's greed and laziness, or he is grooming himself for a television ministry. Personally I think its the second scenario. He's showing everyone he has a serious moral compass, distancing himself at the same time from the Duggars lawsuit riddled trainwreck and coming out as superior all round. Sorry folks but I never trusted him. He comes across as having an agenda. JMHO

This article proves the Bateses aren't better. They decline food stamps, but let Lawson pay for groceries, get free prenatal care, don't pay full price for insurance, and they take tax deductions. That is still help. It is irrepressible to have so many kids when your own son has to help support you and you use the ER.

Well that didn't last long, Josh withdrawing from his sisters lawsuit tail between his legs. I am sure the harm his piggy backing on to their suit, the potential loss of winnings and huge public backlash have all played a part in this happening. Who ever advised them it was a good idea in the first place? If it was their lawyer they need to find a new one. Note no big butt hurt statement this time, just petition withdrawn, did he honestly think he was going to get sympathy from the non duggar huggar public? Seriously delusional if he did. The girls are only puppets in this and we all know who is pulling the strings. I wonder how many of the girls really want to do this and are prepared for the questioning that they will have to endure in a public areana, instead of a Jimbob controlled one? If I were any of their husbands I would want to protect my wife and keep her out of it all. I'm hoping Jeremy preaches all about this, it has the makings of a great bum numer, greed, hypocrisy, sins of the flesh, taking ownership of your own sins and pridefulness. Come on Jeremy you have already pissed off one bil and sil, time to move on to Josh and give him the full biblical kick up the Khyber we've all been waiting for.

Jeremy is on his way to becoming the next famous television evangelist. He married into the Duggar fame for fortune and is using Jinger, his little church and televised sermons as a stepping stones to his goal. He didn't show up out of nowhere, a very unlikely Benboy friend who happened to get into a mission trip with the Duggars. This was not too difficult to arrane with his minor fame as a soccer player and his father a preacher.

Yes, the Bates have captured a boy for Tori, put him into a camper to await the wedding, just like Benboy was put in the shed in Duggarland.

I you look at what's going on with the Duggars over the pat few yrs. Josh's scandal, the girls being auctioned off to men they don't even know. Remember Jilly-muffin, "I think I'm in love with someone I've never met." The way the Dillards are "supporting" themselves with donations, as well as the way they are treating their little son, along with these ridiculous frivolous lawsuits. We are now really seeing what the Duggars are made of. They are not Christians, as real Christians, don't go around suing people at the drop of a hat. They don't hand their precious daughters off to men they don't know, they don't spend hours trying to figure out who they can marry off next for TV ratings. They especially don't constantly lie.

What a shame Jeremy is giving sermons against the Catholic religion, rounding up hatred toward another branch of Christianity. Just what the world needs, more trouble between religions. What goes on with these men when they marry a Duggar girl. The guys seem perfectly nice, such as Dillard, but within a short period of time, they become know it all-force everyone to my way of thinking, people. The Benboy is no different with his anti Catholic internet postings and putting that name on his first born. We can only hope Justin does not suddenly catch the "Duggar Bug". He seems like an industrious young man with ambition.

Do I believe that Jim Bob and Michelle love their children? Yes. Do I believe that they love them all equally? No. Just look at the evidence. Were the girls protected when they were being abused? No, Josh was protected. Did Michelle seem to grieve much when the older girls left home? Not really. Yet she wept and wailed when Josh moved out of state several YEARS after marrying Anna and fathering children, no less. And now we have the lawsuit. Guess who gets to relive all the trauma and deal with the painful details? Does Jim Bob seem at all concerned about that? Um, no. These are disgustingly dysfunctional parents. And I think I'm being very kind.

Do the Duggars have any idea what being deposed is like? Interogatories aren't a picnic either.

Mickey2942 said...

A side note, who remembers the joke of an "interview" Megyn Kelly did with the Duggars, after the molestation story broke? She basically let the Duggars lead the entire interview, it was disgusting.

Now, NBC is "unhappy" that Megyn Kelly is not a hard hitting news reporter?! Really?

Sacramento Chic said...

If Jeremy wants to 'distance himself' from the lawsuit, why hasn't Jinger withdrawn from it herself? I'm sure he's enticed at the prospect of being awarded 3 million dollars m/l. If he's sincere about things, Jinger needs to quit being involved with her family like that and withdraw. Live a good, normal, quiet life with your husband and all will fall in to place. Let the past be in the past.

Heart in Florida said...

Being deposed isn't like the Megyn Kelly interview that the Duggars had complete control over to tell 'their story'. A real hard hitting, but truth seeking reporter should have done that interview. I'm sure the Duggars would have never agreed to that because, you know, they have nothing 'to hide'....I believe they have a lot more to hide.

Yes, years of believing they are truly very special. Arrogantly pontificating that their 'pick and choose' Christianity is far superior to any other. The years of duplicity and greed. The simple lack of love, of empathy, and compassion towards those people who are on a different life journey. May they fall my friends, and may they fall hard.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Just cleaning out old houses
Just doing ministry like playing games, reading the Bible and stuff like that
Just giving interviews to like the producers of the show

I never saw the episode when Jennny went to get glasses but has anyone ever seen her in the glasses they got for her? Since she attends the Duggar Academy, who picked up that she had a problem that required glasses? In those terrible public schools, they tests the kids eyes & their hearing once a yr. So if parents haven't noticed a problem, at least someone is looking out for something like that. What a joke, homeschooling your children & giving the homeschool a name: The Duggar Academy, not even The Duggar school, but "The Academy" no less. Really sounds impressive.

Duggar Academy... More pretentiousness. Could it be since Jim Bob struggled to get through school (graduating a month before the turned 19) this helps his self esteem to have his name attached to AN ACADEMY?

Its Jill and Dericks anniversary so of course mom and pops posted the compulsory fan message of congratulations. Apparently the Dillards make a dynamic couple, I kid ye not they used the word dynamic, and with straight faces. What do they do that is dynamic? Do they build hospitals schools or decent housing for people in need? No. Do they dig wells to bring clean safe water to people? No. Do they raise money and buy and distribute much needed items to help people less fortunate? No. Do the have any skills that would be useful and help others, for example engineering, medicine, teaching? No. I don't see them as dynamic I see a lot of question marks and no's, says it all. What do posters here think, are they dynamic?
