I have been saying for weeks the wedding is soon. They are problaby waiting on the make sure she has a honeymoon baby.
Looks like friends and family are gathering in Arkansas so the wedding is imminent. I hope we get to see some photos of Kendra and Jinger.

I'm surprised that Anna, Jill, Jessa, and Joy aren't all pregnant. Multiplying is the women's duty and purpose in life. Seriously, isn't that what we are told constantly with the Duggar clan??
Not my religion: I think the Duggar girls are getting a taste of the reality of having young children of your own, and the financial costs of raising a family. Derick is at Cross church school of ministry, and claims to have a job, but they are a one income family and if Dericks tweets are to be believed they never benefitted financially from the show so money must be tight. Ben is studying some theology course and interns at a church, not sure if he still cleans toilets for JB. He and Jessa recently put some land adjacent to their house up for sale, the money from which I am sure they will use to move to a bigger house, after that number three will be announced. Joy just had little Giddy in february, so I don't think she will have another one just yet, but out of all the sisters she is the one I can see having a litter close to the size of her psrents. Finally Anna, all her babies have been spaced out, Mason is not a year old yet, so I wouldn't anticipate another pregnancy until the middle of next year, although if she is working overtime to keep Josh out of mischief you never know!
When will people give up the stupid toilet cleaning meme for Ben? It was episode fodder for one episode YEARS ago. Half or more of what is done on episodes is just producing cheap TV. Why do people fall for it?
For the person who asked, Marcy And Monty Dauer are friends of the Duggars and the Bates and the whole bunch. They live in California and they hang with the Gothard crowd. I am not sure to what degree they are actually followers of IBLP itself. They have several children and one of their daughters is married to Brandon Keilen's brother. Brandon is the husband of Michaela Bates. The Dauers also have a son Cooper who is friends with the Duggar and Bates kids. The Dauers have gone on mission trips to Central America with the Duggars in the past and they show up at all the weddings, etc. It looks to me like they are sponsoring the Duggars at this speaking engagement in California on Father's Day. I am guessing the Duggars will fly home quickly after their appearance, in order to be home in time for Kendra's baby.
Wouldn't you all love it if John David or Jana just snuck off someday and married someone without all the Duggar Family bs and drama???

I am quite surprised that the wedding date is so far out. They must want to drag out the showers, courtship, but this seems to not fit a budget shooting schedule. I would have thought JB would want her wedded, bedded, and breeding on schedule for the show.
Does anyone else pick up on the zero interest by the public about another Duggar wedding? I think we've grown tired of the arranged, rushed marriages between two immature tennagers/young adults with the only purpose is to reproduce.

I just watched a video Jill posted of Derek and Israel in the back yard looking at the garden. It is coming along well. I couldn't help but notice when Jill panned around the yard how they are obviously living in public housing or something the church allows them to live in. No real grass just mowed down weeds, very depressing if you take a look at it. Jill must be regretting marrying Derek. Going from Jimbob's favorite daughter living in the Duggar pool house to living in public housing. I'm betting a number of Jinger's sisters are green with envy over the Vuluo's nice place down in Texas.

There is a website that claims to have the Duggar questionnaire. Over 400 questions! The pronouns used were a bit off so it makes me think it isn’t valid. Some of them use I and other questions state your wife. The writer of the question would be the I person so is that supposed to be Jim Bob? Some of the questions were things that I would think Jeremy would have been dinged on.
I thought there had been a bachelor party of some sort. Do they blindfold the guys at this one and feed them baby food at this one, too? Or maybe to change it up a bit they spoons one of Sierra's shards in a jar and have them guess what it is.
I could not imagine a Duggar bachelor party. I'm sure they are exciting! I wonder how many people will even remember it in a year.

Oh, it's a very sad situation but I think you may be on to something. Jana would make a great step-mom and wife in this situation.

Jana couldn't go live with an unmarried man. Unless she brought her chaperones.
The only out for Jana is another houseful of children that are not hers, to raise. Jana must be a saint, because I seriously would have bailed by now.

Wow! This article doesn't pull any punches on how the writer thinks about Michelle and her parenting, or rather, lack thereof. Most of the conjecture seems right on target to me.
Why bother to even name Jordan? She was number 18, on the way to 20. Michelle at that point, seemed to be wrapped up in having as many pregnancies as quickly as possible. And hand baby off to "sister-mom".

Normal weight baby born in a medical facility. That's quite the rarity for a Duggar these days.
In the People Mag picture of Kendra, Joe, and Garrett she looks great! Not swollen or exhausted like the Duggar Girls after each baby. I was SO thankful to see a healthy sized baby AND that she was given time to put on makeup, do her hair before having to pose for People. The couple looks truly happy and peaceful. I am hoping this means that it all went much better for her than the last few deliveries.

Wow. That article about Jordyn and Michelle pulls not punches. I hope Michelle doesn't read it -- can you image how she'd take it out on Jordyn, who's only 9?
I'm uncomfortable about someone writing that about a 9 year old. The article isn't critical of Jordyn, but some people in the Duggars' circle would probably blame Jordyn for not worshipping the mother who neglects her and making them look bad. But then again, if you don't want people to point out how bad your parenting is, don't put your children on reality TV for a decade. I'm just worried that Jordyn will get a tongue-lashing and be told she needs to work on "contentment" and having a "joyful countenance."

I watched the Bates episode where Tori and Bobby went on their honeymoon. It's the first time I've heard any couple discuss the difficulties of going from courting (with a chaperone always) to being left totally alone to do what ever they wanted. Tori asked Bobby at one time to kiss her and he said "it feels like a shouldn't". There's alot of pressure on these "kids" to go from a first hand-hold or hug, to a first kiss on the wedding day, to making a baby that night. I'm glad Tori was open enough to say it was difficult. I don't think I've ever heard a Duggar talk about it openly.
Laura, do we know she had a hospital birth? I am just asking. I haven't come across any info regarding the location of labor and delivery yet. If it really is a hospital birth, then yay for Kendra and Joe! So sick of these ignorant and dangerous botched home births.
Ruby...In the photo I saw, Kendra's wearing a hospital bracelet, so yes, Garrett was born in a hospital. My question is, was that their first course of action like it should be? Or did she labor at home for hours on end, only to be rushed in as an emergency like Jill, Jessa, and Joy all did?
I must say that so far I'm very impressed with the Caldwell family's raising of Kendra. My reasoning in the list below.
1. Kendra carried herself through becoming pregnant on her honeymoon to having a normal birth experience without a revealing, belly-button bulging photo or constant selfie.
2. Her house appears very clean, well decorated (and may I say especially for a teenager) organized. Not one "sloppy, dirty Duggar lounging around" on a sofa in any photos.
3. Not one photo of "Dr. Jill, the no-medicine woman" assisting with anything or the Duggar clown show standing around watching her give birth.
4. All indications so far suggests that Joe, Kendra and sweet Garrett are their own family unit.
I'm betting Jessa is dying inside knowing that Kendra did the whole maternity and birth thing so much classier than she did with both her pregnancies. I bet Jessa is jealous of Jinger for numerous reasons. Her freedom, well educated and respected husband, gorgeous house, nice new clothes, friends that aren't part of the Duggar clan, getting to travel around the country, friends that throw her classy parties (baby shower), her healthy pregnancy and of course, the baby girl about to arrive.
And Jessa is stuck back at the cluttered, dirty mold house, with used furniture that people have given birth on, an uneducated husband that depends on her dad for money, wearing used clothing and dumping her kids off on her older sister whenever possible . How depressing.

I think people are saying hospital birth because Kendra is wearing what looks like a hospital bracelet in the pic. It could be from a birthing center or something, but still better than a home birth.

Not only does she have to live under the weight of parental neglect, she also has to live with it being written about. I believe that all her brothers and sisters from Jana / John David on down feel exactly the same way. The only exceptions being Jill and Josie.
I guess Kendra's Mother actually had time and interest to actually BE A Mother, which is more than giving birth. I am sure it made a huge difference.
I happened to see an episode of "Materinty Ward," which I have never seen before. There was a young woman Joy's age about to give birth. She had not attended any type of birthing classes etc. The nurses & Dr. were great instructing her in the proper breathing technique All I could think of was how Joy was trying to breath during her labor. She had absolutely no idea what to do & everyone was telling her to breath, however nobody mentioned how to do it properly. When Joy was breathing it sounded like a horse snorting, I apologize for saying that but that's what it was. Sadly nothing was going to help her since the baby was breech. It just shows that not everything comes automatically to a pregnant woman
I thought Kendra Duggar looked do pretty as a new mother. The three looked wonderful, they certainly haven't been Fame whores like some of the other Duggars. I wish them the best.
I guess Kendra's mom isn't busy from sun up to sun down caring for 20 kids like Michelle has been doing for most of her life,(enter sarcasm) so she had a little time to devote to her pregnant daughter.
New Dillard video with Michelle and Sam. Why does Sam act like a 5 month old? he seems very behind. His movements are jerky and he seems to not be able to really feed himself or connect with Michelle. A little strange. Hope nothing is amiss due to Jill's ignorance or Derick's idea to live in zika infested country while jilly muffin was pregnant.
Molly - I just watched that episode as well and I agree. I was so happy to see Tori/Bobby acting like a very normal couple. It is obvious that they love and respect each other but it was great to see a couple without the gushy looks and all over each other handholding we have been from the other newly married Bates/Duggars. And honestly, I was a bit surprised they left her confession in. They try to make it seem so wonderful to go from 0 to 100 in a moment but I think it must be overwhelming and maybe maybe even scary. I was glad that Tori not only shared that but that they aired it as well.
Disgusting how Michelle and JB, are always slobbering on each other, and I wish I could "unsee" the mini golf humpathon. They always try to make themselves the center of attention, no matter what. Jessa's wedding? All about Michelle and JB mugging it up, kissing. Anna had a baby shower for her first baby, Michelle wants to compare bellies...really? Can't she just let Anna enjoy the limelight for once?

As for Jessa being jealous if anyone is jealous it is Jill jealous of Jinger and Jessa. I don't see Jessa being jealous. Jill is the one with two C-sections and a husband who got them booted from the show.Ben maybe young and full of opinions but he doesn't seem unstable. I think Jessa is trying to show reality while Jill, Alyssa Webster, And Erin Paine try to act like things run perfect all the time.

I think from Jessa's recent long, drug-out emoji filled post about Spurgon hitting little Henry, she is dying for some fan attention. I'm sure everyone is focused on Kendra & little Garrett or the soon to be wed Lauren & Josiah. Jessa has a rude awakening coming because with every new announcement of courting, engagement, wedding, showers, pregnancy and birth, she falls further down the totem pole.
I'm also wondering if Jessa dug around in her cupboards and closets to find baby and wedding gifts like she did on an episode of CO? It's strange how she registers for hundreds of things when she gets married and pregnant but shops her closets and cupboards for gifts when it's for someone else. The married Bates children seem so much happier and content than the married Duggar children. It's like night and day.
I just watched the video with Sam and Michelle. He is small for eleven months, but I didn't see anything to raise alarm. He was sitting up well, and it was clear his gaze was focused on someone else, probably the person shooting the video, rather than Michelle.
Jim Bob's job as a parent is to strut around like big man on campus and not change diapers cook or do laundry. He is not a real parent he is a Houser, feeder, brainwasher of servants. It's been very quiet on the Duggar front this week. I'm wondering if any of the Duggars went this weekend to the marriage vow renewal of Zach and Whitney Bates? Any sightings or photos posted?
Ellie on a roll:They have posted a couple of you tube videos and the venue and outfits looked really lovely. I actually like this couple, they both work at real jobs and have bought their own home, they have not cranked out a baby every year, Whitney wears jeans and proper bathing suits (although not in front of the in laws), and they seem like nice people. This is all for the show though, usually people do a vow renewal after some kind of adversity in their lives, as a way to reaffirm their vows and relationship. Their actual five year anniversary isn't until december, I guess UP TV decided that they needed yet another wedding, wonder if they are going to do this for every married bates couple?
I seriously think it would be ratings GOLD if one of the Duggar boys courted and married one of Jill Rodriguez's daughters. I would seriously tune in every week to watch that crazy clown train!

It seems rather soon to me,for a vow renewal for Zach & Whitney Bates. We waited until our 50th. I guess just to make sure it really took. We'll probably wait another 50 to make sure it's still working, or at least working well!
I don't know if Sam has any residual effect from Jill being in the country where the Zika Virus was rampant, while she was pregnant. However, when I renewed my nursing license this yr. I was require to take an in-depth course on the Zika Virus. It truly is frighten & I would be beside myself if I found out my daughter was going to be in a country where she could be expose to that virus. I'd probably be watching both the baby & mom constantly to see that they were all ok. from the information I gained, I consider it a very serious medical condition.

If you come and sing ok paying for you to sing is one thing that is our job. But just having a donate button on the website? no wonder derrick things everyone should donate to them. With the recent vow renewal of Zach and Whit, I wonder if Josh and Anna have any ideas to renew their vows to get back in the good graces of family and fans? I agree with Ginger's comment that it's way too soon to be renewing your wedding vows after ten yrs. or less. There are so many ups & downs in a marriage. There are job losses, illnesses, infidelity, children born with handicaps. What about the couple that truly loves each other & stays together in a marriage after loosing their only child? There's a great deal of living & loving in a marriage & it's not all done within the first ten or fifteen yrs. I think trying to convince people that they are the most happy & loving couple anyone knows because they are still together after ten yrs. is ridiculous. Why don't they wait until at least their 25th anniversary before they decide to convince everyone how wonderful their marriage is, that they would do it all over again? By the way my perspective on this comes from over 50yrs. of a happy marriage. However we don't feel the need to be announcing it to everyone. We know how happy our lives are & that's good enough or me.
I just realized that Zack & Whitney are only married for 5 yrs. I thought it was bad enough for a vow renewal after ten yrs. but five is just plain ridiculous. No couple from the Bates family of the Duggar family is ever going to announce a separation or divorce, as long as they have a TV show, no matter what's happening within their marriage. Josh & Anna are prof of that. How nice that they have the money after five yrs. of marriage to have a nice venue & beautiful outfits, for the renewal ceremony. If memory serves, we were struggling to buy our home & pay our bills, even though we were both working at that time in our marriage. I'm old enough to remember the old saying, that that first hundred years are the hardest in a marriage.
I am curious to see how they spin this Vow Renewal on the show. Obviously Carlin and Josie are both in relationships on the fast track to weddings so it's not like there wasn't anything else to work on for the show. Has the couple overcome a difficult time? Were they thinking of seperating and then didn't? Or is it just because they are the only couple to not have had a televised wedding like the rest? Chad/Erin's was a whole episode of "Counting On" and Alyssa/John had some kind of TV special. Zach/Whitney were the only ones to not have anything on TV about their first wedding day. Also, it kind of surprises me because they seem to be the most down to earth of the whole bunch!
Zach and Whitney haven't been married five years yet. They were married December 2013. It will be five years this winter.

Re Hortense' comment about Duggars learning about healthy eating etc. That would be a good topic, interesting, relevant, and actually do some good! The main reason I ever started watching was my interest in their homemaking, home schooling, child rearing, etc. Sadly, that reason turned to near horror at some of their practices and then boredom. Court, marry, baby, rinse, repeat.

anyone see John David is in a courtship with a girl named Abby. The truly seem happy. They are at the right age to marry seem very happy. These two are the only ones beside ginger that seem happy and in love.

If Josiah gets hitched this next weekend and Jinger's baby is due shortly I have this image of Ol' Jumbo Duggar walking in and announcing to the ones still single that
they are going to draw straws to see who is going to get married next. With fewer left of marrying age John-David had a good chance of being the one up next.
I like John-David as he seems hardworking. I want him to be happy and hopefully this lady will help him get over the craziness he was brought up on.
From what I’ve read....John David and Abbie have “know of each other” for years but didn’t officially meet until a couple of months ago...little refreshing from the standard party line

Hortense: Re your last comment about Abbie helping John David get over his crazy upbringing, I don't think that will happen. Abbies family are as up to their necks in ATI/IBLP/Gothard followers aa the Duggars are, infact they were the poster family for the cults homeschooling programne. She must be intelligent, and have gotten extra tuition in the sciences to be able to qualify as a nurse (something John Davids own sister Jill was not permitted to do, even though she wanted to). I am sure she will give up her 'career' after they are married and will move to Arkansas (JB won't allow any son to move too far) and be pregnant in a sneeze.
I for one am glad that John David's Abby is close to his age and works a real job. He has always seemed to be the hardest-worker of the Duggar sons. It would have disappointing to hear that he was matched with a "waiting for my price" fundie-daughter in the her late 20s or a too young teen bride. Maybe this couple will even take their time courting before they rush into engagement and marriage and babies like the rest.

I'm seriously over-the-moon happy for John David and Abbie!! I don't recall EVER seeing John this happy. Very, very happy for them. I'm pretty much convinced that they are already engaged and it will be announced at the Si-Lauren wedding.
I agree with you he looks so happy, however the cynic in me surfaces with the Duggars, this one makes me wonder if TLC possibly threatened the end of the show? Many have said he would pull out the big guns and marry off Jana if that ever happened, maybe he is still holding that card in reserve. I hope Abbie continues with her nursing if only doing enough hours to keep her licence.
They officially met only 2 mos ago and just started courting but already the are professing their love for each other. If courting is when you spend time with someone to see if you want to become engaged and this is where they are in their relationship does anyone else think that is a
bit out of order? I'm betting they are already engaged.
In the midst of the Josiah wedding and the John David courtship, I just want to mention how beautiful Jinger is in her recent maternity photos with Jeremy. The ones where she has a long dress on. They are beautiful and classy photos. Jinger and Kendra seem to have upped the ante for maternity style. Kudos to them both. Hope Jinger has a smooth birth, like Kendra seems to have had. I am sure the new little Vuolo daughter will be beautiful with a lot of dark hair.'
I have never posted because all of you say it much better. But, I have had it with this family always having to stay relevant. So Anna breaks her twitter silence to congratulate John David and Abbie. Don't these people own phones? Pick up the phone and congratulate them. Everybody needs to know you congratulated them? I know that's not what social media is all about but dang, a congratulations tweet? Just can't anymore. Every little thing is out there all the time so that we don't forget. Yep, as Laura said, just pawns in JBDs game.
Any courtship or engagement, I take as a PR stunt to keep the show going. Good luck Jim Bob. John David, please don't marry just to please your father, if you are truly in love fine, but these 2 or 3 month courtships that immediately go to marriage & kids is just ridiculous. Jim Bob must be desperate for the PR it's been way too quite on the Duggar front for weeks now & Jim Bob & TLC just cant have that. The birth of Kendra & Joe's baby didn't bring in a great number of fans commenting & congratulating. I'll save my congratulations for further engagements & weddings until I believe it's the real thing.
I agree with the comment about Jinger and Jeremy's maternity photos. They are beautiful. I especially like the black and white where his hands are on her belly. Very intimate, loving, classy and beautiful!
Re:Emma's comment that she hopes Abbie continues with her nursing career at least for enough hours to keep her license. As an LPN myself, I know that to keep your license, you don't need to work any hours. Once you have completed LPN school & passed the state exam & have received your license, you will receive your license renewal form every 2 yrs. whether you work or you don't. You do however need to take the mandatory courses every 2 yrs. when your license is due for renewal & send in your completed courses along with your check for the license fee. You can now take the courses over the internet if you want too. So Abbie can still be an LPN & not work at all, so she will fit into the non-working women requirement for being a Duggar wife. Of course, they already have their own professional, Jill the midwife. Of course, a midwife is an approved profession in their circle. An LPN will see male patients compared to Jill the midwife who will only see women. I understand that there is a great deal of controversy over whether or not Jill is really a midwife.

I think that Jim Bob finally realized that the Josiah-Lauren nuptials are a snooze fest. We really aren't that interested in their 'story'. He brought John David out of the bullpen and finally gave his son, who is 28 years old, permission to court.
I, too, would like to know if Abbie actually has a real job and works in some type of health care facility, doctor's office or an ob gyn's office....so she isn't defrauded by males.
Perhaps we have it all wrong and she holds the diploma to be an LPN but 'freelances' it.
Sunny days: Thank your for putting me straight. I am a nurse too, but am not in the US. Here in the UK we need to revalidate with our governing body every three years which involves completing a set number of hours training and a minimum number of hours hands on practice. I thought it might be something similar in the US, so my bad! As you say if she doesn't need to work and falls pregnant on her honeymoon duggar style it won't really matter. I totally agree with you that Jill is no midwife, here in the UK you can only become a midwife with a university degree that takes three years as direct entry, or a three year nursing degree followed by a further eighteen months midwifery training, and there is no other way. These 'lay midwives' sound very dangerous to me, I certainly wouldn't use one.
In one of Jill Dillard's photos posted on her blog, there's a photo of one of the lost girls feeding Sam. In the far right top corner, you can see Jessa Seewald laying on the sofa looking at her cellphone. Makes me think she may be suffering from morning sickness since she normally would be in front of the camera, in the videos and with the rest of her sisters and Ben.
Congrats to John David and Abbie on their courtship. The thing I can't wrap my head around is a 26 year old and 28 year old having to be chaperoned. These two are bona fide adults who should be allowed to act like adults. Also, I can't believe how much Abbie looks like Sara Reith who was in a courtship with Zach Bates.
I've seen on other blogs where people are saying Joy's and Jill's babies are ugly along with other Bates babies which is incredibly mean for adults to say. In our family for several generations if we hear an adult say a baby is ugly, we always say, "Ugly in the cradle, beautiful at the table."
RE: Emma's comments about the requirements for nursing. I must say even as an LPN who can take courses over the internet & just send in my check, I don't think it's a good system we have in the US, especially if you are not working in your chosen field. I think you definitely should have a minimum number of hours of hands on practice, instead of just completing a certain number of hours, that are able to be completed on the internet. If you are working you are up to date on current medicines, treatments etc. so that's a different story than someone who hasn't set foot in a medical facility in yrs. You have a much better system than the way it's done here. Everything in the medical field changes quickly & often.

And the girl who took them is a supposed photog out of Ventura County, I currently live in Ventura and her link from the vuolo blog is full of pictures of herself. That was weird to me. How do the vuolos know this girl? Everyone is a 'friend'.....
I always say I want to stop talking smack on duggars because no ones perfect, certainly not I, and we all have to figure out how to live this life the best we can can but dang it! Sometimes I just cant help myself.

Is JB keeping Jana home to tend kids? Or did Jana want to stay home? Either way, Jana's courtship and marriage is the hole card, for JB. When ratings tank, and TLC is looking elsewhere, JB will magically find Jana her "soulmate", ready for courtship.
I just watched the unlocked episodes on TLC of Garrett's birth. I'm not sure why Kendra's mom was reading exercises out of a book. Couldn't Kendra go to a Lamaze class? I'm glad it was a hospital birth but I feel bad that Kendra's suffering was documented for all to see. Those moments should be private. Joe seems very sweet and genuine in his feelings for Kendra and Garrett. Too bad Kendra is part of this disfunctionsl clan! Of course, Michelle got in on the action with her usual saccharine comments!

Jim Bob must have realized that there has been little or no interest in the recent weddings in the Duggar clan, so there goes John David, courting with engagement & wedding soon to come, I imagine. Bloggers are correct, Jim Bob just can't let Jana go at this time, so there goes John David, as the twins are not quite old enough & neither is Hannie. We'll know the end is near when Jana starts courting someone she has known for a week. I thought in Kendra's delivery video that Jessa looked like she was hiding something with that dress. Kendra was adorable on the way home all smiles and Joe was very sweet.

They look very happy. I am not so sure about an engagement and marriage after two months of dating, but apparently she has a "tender heart", and is very "Christlike". I am sure that is what attracted Josiah to Lauren.

In the video TLC posted on their website, he talks about basically wanting to scale back his work as much as he can so he can "focus on their relationship." First, that's the biggest reason not to meet, start "courting", and get engaged/married nearly as quickly as this family does. I can pretty much guarantee that Josiah and Lauren don't know squat about each other when it comes right down to it, but one way or another, they're stuck now. And yeah...If he wants to scale back his work, it sounds to me like he's counting on the TLC gravy train to keep going, just like his parents and siblings seem to.
