I read somewhere that Joe and Kendra had to practice kissing after they were married. Isn’t that something usually done in your teens. I remember feeling attracted to some guy and then when we finally kissed it just wasn’t there. Sure would hate to learn that on my wedding night when it’s a little late to turn back.
And how sad that none of the grown Duggar kids could name even one Greek god or goddess. Isn’t that about eighth grade learning.
Every time I see the next posted pic of Izzy, his eyes face and body language scream to me how the cult members may feel inside but must forever play their happy smiling trapped role. Jenny and jordyn too. Could be wrong.
Maybe he just has a sad, hopeless face.

Seriously. OMG! These folks are living in an alternative reality. JoyAnna was in labor for 20 hours, her baby could have DIED. A half an hour from the hospital may as well be forever in that situation. She is lucky.
When will these people get over the home birth plan?
MIckey2942...I saw that article and clip from tomorrow's episode on People's website, too, and I think my eyes just about popped out of my head from rolling so hard! Yeah, sure, Austin. You wouldn't risk Joy or Giddeon's life. But you didn't bother to make sure she got prenatal care from someone competent enough to realize that she had a 10+ pound breech baby! Any midwife worth their salt would've dropped Joy like a hot potato and told her to get to an OB/GYN for a C-section. So, yes, Austin, you DID risk their lives letting her labor like that when there was no way she'd have ever delivered naturally!
Okay, I'm calling it now. Abbie and John will have coral/pink and gray wedding colors.
OMG do these people outright lie or what? They absolutely did endanger both Joy & her baby's life. We now know, that they had their own midwife & didn't rely on Jill as their midwife. However, I believe Joy's midwife went through the same training that Jill did & had the same amount of skill & knowledge that Jill has, when it comes to delivering a baby. Any midwife who allows the mom to labor for 20 hrs. before deciding that the baby was breech & the mom needed to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency C-section ASAP, doesn't know what she is doing & is not a skilled midwife. What is the fascination with having a midwife instead of a Dr.? The Duggars know full well that there are women Dr's. available. Of course, we must not forget that Joy also had a skilled medical person right there in her own husband, Austin who is a trained EMT. An EMT should know the basics when it comes to delivering a baby just as policemen do. It's not unusual to hear that a couple doesn't think they will make it to the hospital in time, so they end up calling the police & pulling over to receive assistance from the police who have had training in birthing babies. So the whole "we weren't taking any chances," smells of another Duggar lie.
So who is going to buy the Duggar sisters album? I went and had a listen to some of the tracks online and it is woeful. Listening to it reminded me of going to hear my kids at school recitals, its ok when its your own, but you really don't want to listen to other peoples kids caterwauling! They are all very sweet little girls, but none are talented singers or have exceptional voices, there is nothing special about any of the songs, and the Star Spangled Banner is sore on the ears! I am also pretty sure I can hear an adult womans voice on one of the tracks that sounds suspiciously like Michelle, unless its one of the older girls or cousin Amy. The little TLC clip was also interesting to watch, with Michelle in full stage mother mode, and surprise surpise no softly spoken little girl voice, she dropped her guard! Do you think Jimbob sees the writing on the wall for the show, and is milking it for everything its worth? It will be interesting to see how well it sells, one for diehard fans only!

Sorry I mean article, about how Austin & Joy absolutely were never going to endanger Joy's life, or the baby' life, during labor & delivery. I agree with each of you. When will viewers realize that the Duggars, or at least their PR machine, really believe that viewers are just plain stupid, or at least stupid enough to believe these lies. These lies continue over & over again, regardless of whether it's about how one of them met the love of their life 3 months ago, or at least the person they plan to marry & how many yrs. the family has known this soon to be in-law & their family, or how long the couple have been courting & engaged. It's a merry-go-round with this family. What can they throw out there & make people believe is the truth? This article about how concerned they were about a safe delivery for Joy & her baby, comes close to topping them all, that's if you don't go back & count the Josh saga & all the professional counseling they said Josh & his victims had, as well as how everyone had forgiven Josh. If I was going to give the Duggars credit for anything, I'd definitely have to say thay are experts at lying to viewers.
"The Duggar Sisters Sing"? Seriously? This goes beyond tasteless. They can hardly sing. The narcissism of this family is, once again, epic. They think people will pay for the unpolished juvenile songs? Obviously some Christian songs, that may appeal to the fundie crowd. Beyond belief.
If this was a scripted sit-com, which I'm not convinced it isn't...there would be a collective groan from the audience at the Duggar Sisters Sing episode. The Brady Bunch tried it back in the 70s. No one liked it then either and Mechelle is no Carol Brady!
Joe and Kendra revealing to their parents that they are having a honeymoon baby went over like a lead balloon. Jeremy studying online at a fundi seminary confirms his insecurities and his need to have others look up to him. Same for Derrick and law school. He is desperate for someone to respect him.
The concept of this Duggar sisters' CD sounds a bit like Kids YouTube. Anybody can post a video of their adorable, talented kids singing (or doing whatever special skill they have). Most of the videos I've seen are extremely painful to watch.
I think JB is beginning to run out of ideas for using his kids to make money for him. One of these days, these people are going to have to get real jobs and learn how to tell time in the real world.

I agree with Marites H. What is the problem with them just having a family real estate business and quit with all the attention-seeking activities? Of course we already know the answer to that.

This family hangs family photos in the strangest places. I find it questioning why their sons would have a photo of their young parents on the wall of their bedroom near their sink?
Why would ANYONE hang family photos in a bathroom? Just not the place for those, IMO.
Do the kids ALWAYS have to have the impression that their 'parents are watching them' in the most private of places....bathroom and bedroom??? I think this is the reason behind it here. Just sick thinking by them IMO.
Aunt Bea, it seems like that is ALL they hang and display in their home--pictures of themselves. That in itself is strange. No copies of fine art or anything that suggests "culture", just oodles of pictures of themselves.
I give DerDick one semester in law school. He is as stupid as they come.

1) The Duggars don't display what we'd consider "art" because that might be misinterpreted as supporting a particular artist's lifestyle -- like maybe they kissed someone they weren't married to. The horror!! That's why they only display family pictures and they are usually "Mama & Daddy are watching you" style so even the married kids stay true to their strict rules. Go to the P. Graham Dunn website or even Christianbook.com. There is SO much beautiful art out there. Most of mine are P. Graham Dunn and feature some sort of Bible verse or inspirational saying.
I'd agree with Popeye. Perhaps Derrick somehow got a hold of "Legally Blonde" and mistook it for an inspirational video about getting into law school.
Wonder of the kids think their parents are 'watching' them when they are having sex.
The extreme focus on that area of life is contradictory to their defrauded and Nike practices.

Laura: Thinking that Jimbob and Michelle were watching them getting down to business would be the most effective form of contraception ever, talk about putting a damper on things! Mind you I always remember Jimbobs pervy comment to Jill and Derick before they got married and were setting up their bedroom in one of his houses, he made the comment that the phone by the bed would come in handy to call him when they conceived their first child, just so wrong on so many levels!

Just a thought...I think Josh's true colors were on full display long before any of us knew of all of his indiscretions and molestation. I watching an episode from season five and the way he treated and mocked Anna was disgraceful. Anna was petrified to get on the Ferris wheel, but she did it. Josh knew how scared she was, yet he laughed at her and taunted her during the ride. This is how you treat your wife/best friend? Granted, it could have been scripted but what husband would agree to treating his wife like this on TV? This display shows his real character.
Anyone else ever notice that the Duggars Facebook home page picture crops out jill’s Family(right side) and josh’s family(left side) if you view it on a phone(not sure on other computers. I wonder if that was just coincidence that they put the naughty ones on the ends. Also their page doesn’t mention dericks ministry graduation or law school
I may have said before,e but it isn't hard to notice the single Bates and Duggar sons seem ot have more freedom in traveling. Why can't Carlin or another single daughter is left home go with them to help in disaster relief or whatever attention getting thing they do even if not allowed to travel solo?
And don't forget how he cared for Anna doing one of the birthday when he took a nap.
Ok. Just thinking of how unchristian like the Duggar family truly is all the time. 1. Always self serving in every thing they do . Very calculated to always be to their advantage or make them money or fame. God forbid they donate their time and talents to help anyone outside the family. 2. Leaving family members out of photos or cropping family members out because they are bad for the brand or don't make them money. Tough, they are your family that you raised and selected(in-laws) so live with it and own up to it. 3. Telling half truths and lies . All. The. Time! Hell, they can't even give the correct date of a wedding for fear of the paparazzi. LOL If less than 200,000 people even watch your TLC shows, you're not the celebrities you think you are. And we notice the "timeline" of events don't always jive with the dialogue.

Okay, I just saw Jill's latest insta pic of her and her sweet potato fries. What I noticed the most was her nose piercing. It is usually on the left side of her nose in pics but this time it is on the right. I am wondering if it is real or if she just uses stickers? Does she have both sides pierced? Has anybody else noticed this?
Hey Hey Albert - I agree! I caught a bit of Jinger/Jeremy's reveal to the family and Jill and Josh's families were not in those "scenes" Now I realize, a big family with grown children might not always gather for every family dinner, but they obviously organized this dinner for the show and how unChristian to leave out your own siblings for the sake of a show. No one is saying "Don't leave Jill out!" or "Bring Anna back in" - while I don't care to watch any of them - it does seem cruel to me that Jessa just pushes on as hard as she can, caring only that she remains on the show.
About Jill's recent food picture: She needs to spruce up her pictures a little. They look a little sloppy, imo. She has her own face a little too prominent. We know what she looks like. The food pics need to be about the food. Just my opinion; I am definitely not an expert either, lol.
When I first saw the Duggars girls being auctioned of for marriage, I thought Jim Bob had sunk as low as possible but then he brought the boys into the marriage-go- round, & of course started the "Duggar Baby Boom," but nothing that I can think of is as low as those little girls making that CD to boost his wallet, as well as hopefully raising the ratings for the TV show. I hope the people who buy one of these CD's realize that Josh is also getting his cut, because his daughter is a member of the group. Those little girls need more schooling, instead of spending their days in a recording booth. They have already been sold to TLC for filming of the "ministry," now it's on to the music business with Michelle standing up there leading the group, as if she knew what she was doing. No wonder she has always thought she had so many professional musicians in her family, she now thinks she has a female group similar to the young "Osmond Brothers." Obviously Jim Bob is behind the entire scheme,he pulls the strings & Michelle dances to his tune, as well as the rest of the family. How sad to see a father who only sees his children & grandchildren as little money makers for him. There is absolutely no love there at all, just what is the next money making project he can involve the family in. Jim Bob is planning on his kids supporting him for he rest of his life. Only the viewers & the music lovers, who just have to have the new children's CD can stop him.
I am glad that they are moving the storylines out of sequence so it will hurry the show along. For example they are showing the fall baby announcements of Jinger/Jeremy and Joe/Kendra alongside Josiah's January Courtship with Lauren and Joy's winter babymoon. Not totally right timeline wise but at least they aren't dragging every little storyline out. Maybe they'll get "caught up" by the end of this season so we don't have to endure more dress shopping and baby showers.
Just an Observation, I took a look at the photo and it is flipped because she took the photo in selfie mode which flips the picture. I was able to tell the photo was flipped between pictures when I observed her forehead wrinkles, which are not exactly symmetrical on each side. Her nose ring is on one side only, just the photo was flipped.

I just watched Jill's videos giving Sam his first haircut. One thing that really stood out is how distant she is to Israel. Jill said she was sad to cut off Sam's curls and Israel immediately picked up on it and said he was sorry and hugged her. Jill totally ignored what he said and she seemed indifferent to Isreal's hugs. Derek actually seemed more in touch with Israel than Jill. It was just sad to watch.
I hope if Derek does actually get a law degree that he sues the hell out of whoever botched he dental surgery.
I asked on Twitter, “Who is paying?” Comment got a lot of likes. Derrick responded that luckily, the lockers were free of charge. Omg no. I meant law school. There are articles about how he’s too excited about the locker.

Hmmm, a free locker -- that's a great place for a guy to hide away things he doesn't want anybody to know about. I seriously don't think Derrick has what it takes to get through law school and pass the bar exam. Being a "professional student" is just another way to avoid settling down to a regular job.

So you think, I hope at least, that now that Jinger had a successful hospital birth with proper prenatal care, the rest of the sisters will realize that it’s okay to do that too? That it doesn’t have to be home birth to be real birth.
I'm not all surprised that Jill is distant to any of her children. After all look who she had as a mother, not exactly a warm loving mom .
Re:moshe's comment. Not one of the Duggar kids ever set foot outside the house for any schooling, let alone pre school, so why would Jill start with her children? I'm sure she'll homeschool just as Anna does. None of Josh & Anna's kids have gone to school outside the home. It's always good ole "homeschooling." These grandchildren are going to be homeschooled by a parent who was homeschooled. You can judge the results of Michelle's homeschooling yourself.

Jilly Muffin's rambling instagram post about her sponsored Fit Fab Fun box has been taken down. Wonder why? Her instagram post have consisted of a lot of simple and unhealthy recipes borrowed from her unfortunate cloistered upbringing and pictures of her kids doing common, uninspiring things, interesting to Jilly Muffin but no one else cares. Oh, and one post of how to tell your young children about the birds and the bees. Sex-obsessed.

Michelle became obsessed with the pregnancy numbers, after being on tv, she was pregnant almost every year. I literally think that it was about numbers after the first TLC special. That is why I feel so sorry for the kids, after Joy Anna. Those boys, I consider them the "lost boys". Michelle was literally too busy to bother with homeschooling at that time.
I think that the younger girls are getting more attention now. Except for Jordan, but she is fine in the laundry room. Michelle doesn't even acknowledge that girl.
I see Jill as getting involved in some MLM business, surprised she hasn't done it yet. I guess Daddy is still paying the bills.

The SBC is the largest Christian denomination in the United States. It isn't a secret at all. It's what majority of the Baptists in the country attend. It's conservative generally and evangelical. Gothard is a parachurch activity. It is not a denomination or a church. It's like an adjunct to church. A lot of the people who subscribe to Gothard's program are member of IFB (Independent Fundamentalist Baptist) churches.
