Kendra gives birth to a daughter. Joe & Kendra will continue to pump out kids because both were raised with no brainer parents & conditioned to have as as many kids as possible, limited education not prepared to hold jobs other than minimum wage. Not interested in the number of kids these two produce!

Tonight’s CO episode. Are you really kidding me TLC?? So now many rounds of Duggar births including Michelle. Geez! Then we viewers must yet again be subjected to Lauren’s miscarriage. When will TLC end the repetitive shows? When will the insanity end? Counting On this season is all about repeat programs because TLC & the Duggar’s never have anything new. It’s time to end the fundie Chaos!

I just watched the Aug, 4, 2020 episode which except for Jeremy's skateboard lessons was an annoying recap of all Michelle's births leading to all the births into 2020 for all the others. It was so sad to see how excited everyone was to see all these babies being born when all there was in life for these new babies is more of the same. The only thing that will change is the dates and names. There will be no exciting careers for any of them.
Everything that the Duggars and all of us use are things invented and manufactured by people who went to accredited schools and colleges, yet Jim Boob denounces outside education while enjoying everything that those educated people accomplished. What would the Duggars do without their planes, cars, hospitals with real doctors and nurses, and the list goes on and on? If he's so against higher education he should go back to the stone ages and live in a cave.
The Counting On Episode wasn't that bad.I enjoyed Jeremy's story.I didn't watch the recap episode of the births.
08/06 episode of bringing up Bates was just as I expected. This family too is obsessed with pregnancies. Apparently 19 year old Katie Bates will soon be courting 19 year old Travis. Then engaged, a wedding & soon a kid on the way. This probably when the two are still age 19 or 20. Geez.
Fundie families don't realize that teenagers can't usually make a life decision about marriage because the human brain isn't fully developed or mature until age 25. Statistics say that 60% of marriages of couples between the ages of 20 and 25 will end in divorce. There are always exceptions but not many.
Most fundie couples don't choose this option although Anna Duggar's sister got a divorce a couple of years ago. Jim Bob shunned Anna's other sister her for having a child out of wedlock who by now is about 7 years old. That sister got married recently, and Jim Bob was upset because Josh attended the wedding with Anna. He would definitely shun his own children if that happened to them.
Michelle was just 18 and Jim Bob 19 when they married. If they weren't fundies who knows if they would still be together. I doubt it because Jim Bob needs to be worshipped like God, and not many women would just keep "making sandwiches" for him without complaining forever.
The Bates and Duggar families have so many children because they want them to be arrows for God. In other words, populate the world with so many of them to expand their religion to the point of overshadowing all the others. They give no thought to how they will feed all these children and will likely live in poverty all their lives unless they get a TV show.
I don't understand how Jim Bob still is so cheap as if he didn't have enough money to buy good food, new clothes, new car, etc. He let Jessa live in a tiny 2 bedroom house that he owned, so why does he let her continue to live in this house with three children?
She does most of the speaking on the family's behalf and continues to build Jim Bob up with a lot of flattering posts, so he can certainly get her a bigger house on a nice quiet street instead of them having to listen to a ton of noisy cars on the highway they live next to.
It's sad to see her three beautiful children looking at the world with such hope and happiness and realize that they will be doomed without a proper education and freedom to live their own lives without a ton of useless restrictions that serve no purpose especially to God.
As for education, the Duggar children were taught by Michelle who said adamantly in one of her televised interviews that the earth is only 6,000 years old and that the world isn't overpopulated. I wonder what her kids will think when someday they read (somehow) that these things aren't true along with all the other misinformation they were fed. Will they finally make their escape? I hope so.
I think Grandama Duggar owned the house Jessa lives in,and she and Ben bought it from her.
But yes,Jb could do more for them.They'll need a new place or to add on,eventually
Geez last season we already knew about the birth of Bella Duggar. So why is TLC yet again subjecting viewers to Old News? It’s ridiculous. Always enjoy watching Lauren complain & whine she’s pathetic & really immature.
A baby girl for Joe and Kendra. It's hard to think what her future will be with all the rules and regulations. I looked at a UTUBE video titled Raising 16 Children, and it said that Michelle didn't graduate from high school yet she homeschooled her children. I don't know if that's true because in another article it says she graduated high school in 1984.
In that video each child is featured with facts about them like favorite food, past time, etc. Knowing what we know now, it's sad to see that each child had a dream for the future like being an artist, a fireman, Jinger wanted to be a chef, and so on. The most surprising thing was that Josh wanted to be an ATTORNEY.
The Seewalds bought Mary Duggar's 2 bedroom house for $100,000. It's public record in the county in which they live. One of the ways Jim Bob accumulated his money was to purposely buy used clothes, used shoes, isolate his children from normal social activity (which costs money) and cram them in that small 3 bedroom rental house. I'm sorry that those older children paid that price of a substandard childhood when it was not actually necessary.
Those now grown children are woefully undereducated. No one could convince me that high school student, Michelle, was fixated on her studies and future career. She was all about social activities, dates and after she met Jim Bob, she was all about him and earing her M.R.S. degree. As a senior in high school, she was not thinking about her SATs; she was planning her wedding. She forced her father to give permission as she was only 17. He denied permission to Jim Bob to marry Michelle at that time. I love how JB boasted on TV how he ASKED HER FATHER FOR PERMISSION to marry, but neglects to add that Mr. Ruark refused it. Michelle nagged her mother to intervene and talk her father in to giving permission. Jim Bob did not respect her father's word. They pursued and did what THEY WANTED to do. Yet, they deny their children any freedoms to live out their own lives as they see fit and have not given them any opportunity to do so through their education or real world training. Yeah, great parents.
I thought that the house that Jessa and Ben lived in was owned by Jim Bob, but a poster pointed out that they bought the house for $100,000. I can't believe that a 19 yr. old Ben and a 20 yr. old Jessa had any money to buy a house given that Ben didn't have a job yet, and Jessa wasn't being paid for being on the show. I also read in at least two articles that Jessa and Ben bought the house for $1.00 from grandma Duggar. So many things about the Duggars make no sense.
In spite of how it was bought Jim Bob can still help them to get a bigger house especially since he has a real estate license, and it can be like a reimbursement to Jessa being on the show. Also, she's the family's spokesperson most of the time painting exaggerated pictures of Jim Bob and Michelle.
I think that Jim Bob makes her do these televised videos and posts to make him and Michelle
look better than they are just like he forced her and her sisters to appear after the Josh scandal to DEFEND and EXCUSE him for what he did. THEY were the VICTIMS of their golden son Josh who they were grooming to get into politics in order to promote all their distorted beliefs and to influence laws being made that would take human rights away from many diverse people.
Can anyone imagine how EMBARRASSED the girls were having to tell the whole world what happened to them in the safety of their own home? These girls were now adults and all married and had the right to refuse to do it. Tt goes to show how much power Jim Bob had over them and probably always will. They should all live their lives like Jill is doing, but I don't think they want to pay the price of being alienated from their family.

Great points Aunt Bea. I feel that in the earlier years most people felt the Duggars were controlling of their children because of sincere religious beliefs. Over the years now, however, it feels like - to me - that its probably more about control than actual religious intention.
The $1.00 for the house keeps getting repeated, but it's based on ignorance of AR real estate practices. The deed does not state the value of the house or the transaction. The actual sale papers do. The deed says something like $1 and other valuable consideration. I've sold property in AR and trust me none of it sold for $1 although you can't tell it by the deed.

I also wonder if they sold the house with the pool that was where Mary was living? Does anyone know or have knowledge to find out? Thanks.
Just an observation - I've been reading and posting about the Duggars and I also wish that their show would finally be cancelled. The recent Special (a baby girl for Kendra and Joe) showed one birth after the other. That's all they have to offer, but I think that witnessing a child being born is only special to the parents. However, I never wanted anyone but the doctors and nurses present when I gave birth to my three children. These MODEST people are always contradicting what they preach.
As long as people keep watching the show, myself included, TLC will keep it on indefinitely. It's just human nature not being unable to resist watching a "train wreck." TLC knows this and is making a lot of money along with Jim Bob and Michelle.
I can't blame their children for their beliefs because they've all been indoctrinated since they could talk. I don't understand how they could all keep smiling no matter what because it must wreak havoc on their emotions. Also, being obedient ALL the time because they fear the punishment.
Anyway, even if the show was cancelled at some point Jim Bob is pretty much set for life even if he has to contribute to his childrens' support. Grifters will always find a way out.
The house that Grandma Duggar lived in was sold for $400,000. a few months ago with one of the Duggar boys handling it as a realtor. The article said that there's one serious drawback to this house that sits on 1.5 acres. It looks directly over a landfill and there's always a terrible smell. I remember a couple of years ago reading that the Duggar big house was across the street from a dump, and there was a bad smell there too.
I don't understand why Jim Bob built the big house there unless he got those 20 acres very cheap or why the mini-mansion that Grandma Duggar lived in had a similar situation. Why would she even want to live there and why on earth was she living alone in that HUGE house. Look up the pictures.
Being alone the way she was and not knowing how to swim at her advanced age should have been a red flag to Jim Bob and everyone else. I've always been suspicious of how they say she died, and there were no details about the incident other than she fell in the pool, and her daughter found her. There are so many unanswered questions with the Duggars. They withhold information like this yet put all their child-birthing on display for the world to see.

Thank you for the info on Grandma D's house sale. I guess they just sold it to someone outside the family. I doubt any inside the family would want to live there. I don't think I would if I was in that scenario. Now I am wondering who owns Josiah's house. I am pretty sure they are renting. I think John probably owns anything he is living in or involved with. I certainly do know that it is none of my business, but honestly, with hardly any news at all coming from Duggarland, it is something to wonder about. lol.

Jill probably has some idea. Derick has JB's number and apparently Jill has been going to counseling. She's read books about boundaries and if her therapist is even halfway decent has at least begun discussions about the controlling parenting she suffered.
