Very happy that the first "Duggar girl" to have a girl is Jinger. I'm betting Jinger won't use her as a sister-mom.
I saw the advance clip about Jinger's piano. So happy for her about that. Love seeing her and Jeremy. I just cannot believe, however, that Jim Bob and Michelle were back on, AGAIN. First the little girls and Michelle, now JB. They should just change the name back to what it was. I didn't think JB would be able to stay away from the camera for very long. I am surprised he lasted this long. Grrr. So sneaky of them all. As if we wouldn't notice. Mark my words, Josh will be back before long. This may be the last straw for me. So many things they could film, but they are just stunted in their ideas, evidently.
Jinger seemed so much more open and mature than she ever was before. She did look at Jeremy a few times but not in that stupid way Michelle does like she is worshiping every idiotic thing that spews out of JB's mouth.
Okay, so Jinger's "sweet" reaction to the music and piano was expected BUT wow! That reaction to seeing her family. The long hug, real tears. Where have these Duggar emotions been all these years?!
Why did MEchelle and Jim Boob show up for JInger and Jeremy's anniversary? Why did they think J&J wanted to spend their anniversary with them?
Aimee, I was moved my Jinger's emotional reaction to seeing her family. Then I thought how sad that they only brought boys & none of her sisters. After living with all those girls in one room, life must seem really empty & lonely without them. No matter how happy she is with Jeremy.
I wonder why only the boys went to Laredo to see Jinger?
I got the impression from things Jeremy said that he had invited her family. What did you guys think? The problem with that, though, was the fact that Auggie mentioned - Why only the boys? Were they on their way to somewhere else? Just seemed weird, I agree. Another side note - wow, they sure have a really nice plane now. It must be new as I have never seen this one. It must be pretty big as well if it held all of them.
Willow...I took it that Jeremy asked the Duggars to come, as well. My takeaway was basically that he needed someone to meet the piano delivery guys, let them in, and offer whatever assistance might have been needed to set it up, and since Jinger had apparently been saying she missed them, Jeremy had the family fly down. Maybe the piano delivery was the reason it was just the boys there. I know that, as a small, admittedly out-of-shape female, I wouldn't have been much use in that situation. But I still found it a little strange to have the family barge in (For lack of a better term. I know it's not exactly barging in if you're invited.) on the anniversary. Personally, I think I'd want to spend that day just as a couple...Especially the first anniversary.
After years of constantly talking about that "Tater Tot Casserole," it was interesting that Jim Bob had absolutely no idea whatsoever how to make it & had to ask Michelle "what do I do?" I also thought their plane was new & quite luxurious for a family that size. I also did not understand why it was only the boys there & no sisters. I'm sure the men who delivered the piano could set it up & it wasn't necessary or the reason that only the boys were there. I'm sure Jeremy has at least one friend or neighbor who could have met the delivery men & let them into the house to set up the piano. There was no reason that only the brothers were there & no sisters, especially since Jinger mentioned a number of times talking to her sisters on the phone, to ask them questions. Jinger did seem genuinely happy to see her mom & spend some time alone with her.
Why are Jim Bob and Michelle back? I'm sad to see that their ratings are still up with the same boring story week after week. Will it ever end?
JB and Michelle will horn in every single episode, for the cash. Probably in the contract.
JB and Michelle are mostly back because they can't stand not being in front of the camera, IMO.
