No, I don't think so. I hear LOTS of people—even highly educated people—from all over the place get that wrong. I'm not sure how they missed the lesson that should've taught them to take the other person/people out of the sentence and phrase it the same way when you add that person/people back again, but somehow they did.
I saw too that Abby and John David are going to have a baby. I am happy for them.....she is 27 and he is 29 so a little older....and more mature than when others in the family started having kids. By the time he was John David's age, Josh had 5.....or was expecting the 5th.
I just read that the snore fest “Counting On” starts back up in 2 months. Gee, let me guess. Same BS, just different season. I have figured it out! Jana didn't want Derrick Dillard, passed to Jill, she didn't want Ben Seawald,pass to Jessa, she didn't want Jeremy Vuolo, pass to Jinger. She definitely didn't want Forsythe, pass to JoyAnna.
All of her sisters got "Jana's leftovers". She was presented with them first, and passed them over. Smart girl. If those were her choices, I think staying single is a good decision.

Pretty sure there’s a Duggar scandal on the horizon. 3 Tabloids are already reporting about Josiah on the cusp of having a mental meltdown. Frankly, I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner. And figuring with the Duggars, he will be placed in a physical labor type camp to work it out of him instead of getting actual mental health care. SMH
Jeremy and Jinger did a cute little Q and A on their Instagram last night. I really like these two and they seem to be really finding their own way. I loved the outfit that Jinger had on and she just looked adorable. Then, she posted a beautiful picture of Jeremy and Felicity with the sunset behind them and I was reminded of her photography skills. Also, that she has always wanted to live in the city. She seems to just be growing into who she has always wanted to be. She is experiencing so much more of life than her sisters.....Jessa still living in that little house with three kids now. Jill....still seems to be stuck as well. I'm happy for Jinger.
Funny..It’s like magic. Some people were commenting that Jessa hadn’t posted any new photos of blessing #3 and poof, Jessa posts new photos. She is definitely stalking the snark sites! LOL I did notice Jessa wasn’t in any of the photos so she must be struggling to get the old Duggar figure back.

Jinger and the Holy-goalie must hate their new home. They seem to constantly be eating out, having coffee, modeling clothes and accessories, and attending professional soccer games. I always feel that any couple that has to post what a great time they’re having, all full of smiles and picture perfect photos or videos, really aren’t that happy. Why can’t they just be in the moment and live their lives?? Something is definitely off.
Seems like Jessa blessa is starting to throw in the “give a rip” towel. She posted some photos of the kids and I couldn’t believe it. Apparently 3 blessings will be the game changer for Jessa. Give it 1-2 more blessings and she’ll be having a laundry room meltdown.

I too have wondered about Jinger and Jeremy's money situation. I doubt he could have been making much as the pastor of the small church in Laredo. I wonder if he has soccer savings. They could also have TLC savings/money. At this point, they may have some cash from the sale of their house. We just can't know for sure. He may have some scholarships for his seminary?? They sure seem to have plenty of nice clothes and money to eat out, that is for sure. I do wish them well I L.A. - they seem happy.
I doubt the "jet set" lifestyle the Vuolos are living in LA is due to the house sale profit. They dressed and lived like that in Laredo; they were always out with what lifestyle Laredo had to offer. I also agree totally that Jeremy does NOT behave like a seminary student. He is a superficial person looking for a "career" in preaching. He's in it for the potential fame and donation money. Jinger has no say in anything including how she dresses. It's a coincidence how her fashion style mirrors Jeremy's. I think HE goes shopping with her and 'suggests' outfits for her. It is interesting to me, that none of the children has really decided to go their own way, abandon the nest, and live a real life. Several are commenting about Jeremy and Jinger's lifestyle and how can they afford it. LA is not cheap and they appear to have an active social life. If you look at both of their Instagram pages, they promote restaurants, eyeglasses, clothing and various other businesses. Not sure how this works but I'm sure they are paid for these product placements. Jeremy also loves to pose and I believe he thinks he's a big TV star and that "fame" has gone to his head. Having said all of this, they appear very much in love and I'm glad Jinger has broken away somewhat from the stifling Duggar lifestyle.

As an Accountant Derick’s commitment was very brief.
As a missionary spreading his faith Derick’s commitment was again very brief as quickly Jill & he returned to the USA.
As a student in law school will Derick focus & followthrough? Will Derick finally choose to commit, complete, earn a law degree & graduate? We shall see. I therefore remain dubious.
Last Counting On season we learned that Ben Seewald is in college pursuing a Bachelors degree. Is Ben majoring in elementary or secondary education? Good for him. Upon graduating if he chooses Ben could become the main educated teacher to all of the Duggar grandkids.
I think both Jill & Jessa are of similar personality & character. Both desperately seek attention, can’t maintain clean homes & cant cook or bake.
I believe Ben is committed to completing his college degree. If teaching is his passion then if he would choose to teach the Duggar grandkids they would be well served & so much better mentally healthier vs the absurd loser Gothard method of home schooling which obviously is a huge failure.

One thing that really stuck out to me was their website.....on it, there was a lot of marriage advice and they recommended several marriage books etc. I always thought it odd that such a young couple that had only been married for a very short time would be giving marriage advice. I read some of the stuff just out of curiosity and quickly realized that all the advice they were giving, was just a continuation of what their parents had drilled into them. Nothing was "theirs" if you know what I mean. They were just puppets repeating what had been drilled into them. Something else that I've noticed. This is one of the current trends in non-traditional, evangelical Christianity. Jeremy and Aubrey Roloff are part of this trend as well. It is interesting because back in the 90s there were a lot of young people spotting off advice and they had no idea what they were talking about. Joshua Harris of "Why I kissed dating goodbye" fame is one of them. As adults they forced to deal with the damage their public youthful indiscretions caused.

The thing with Derick being in law school is that it's a temporary/desperate, time killing thing. I was kind of puzzled when he announced his new path in life. Law school isn't easy and he doesn't seem like the type of person to do the difficult path. He also doesn't seem like the firm joining type. He doesn't present himself well, he's so hateful and he's kind of ignorant. You can't educate that kind of ignorance out of someone.
One of the most frustrating things about this whole family is when they say "they are beyond happy and can't wait to see where the Lord leads them". I have a family member that got a Masters Degree in Theology. I asked her what she was going to do with her new degree, I expected her to go into ministry or something. She said "I have no idea, I am going to wait to see what the Lord has in store for me and where He leads me." One thing that I learned in High School English class was that sometimes having no adjectives is the best choice. For example, "I am happy that we are moving to a new house." Keep it simple sister.

Ellie On a Roll: Honestly, I don't think any of the older Duggar sisters give one eff for Jana. I don't think they respect her, really at all and never have. I think they initially resented her 'being in charge' of the household and subsequently, THEM growing up. Then as the sisters courted, were 'wedded and bedded', their lack of care about Jana went down from there. I don't think Jana was really allowed to develop any real relationship with any of the older girls because she was a position of authority over the rest of the kids, Josh included. I think if she developed anything with the other siblings, it may be with the youngest 4 girls.

It would be interesting to see how JB and Michelle would react to Jana being the ONLY child left at home. They might not want her there so much if all the little kids didn't need a cook/caregiver. The Bateses have used incorrect grammar and mispronounced words. I'm not saying the Bates kids who go to college aren't smart, but doubt they get the intellectual challenges they would at a secular university. Could they debate global warming or evolution? And they stay within the 'accepted' vocations allowed by their beliefs.
While Crown seems better than most colleges for IFB /Quiverfull is essentially a reinforcement of beliefs. Crown college still has many strict rules as the rest and the 'accreditation' means nothing in secular world of colleges. I read the one Kelton went to forbids opposite genders from sharing stairs. So any of them going to college does not mean they are suddenly 'liberal'. I don't see Derick changing any of his views and doubt the Bateses are.

Nope, her "role" will soon be taking Ma Duggar to medical appointments. Women who have lots of babies don't seem to age well. I predict a few surgeries for various reasons, Jana can be around to nurse and take care of Mama, and don't forget laundry, that is wimmins work. Ma Duggar doesn't do much but be subservient to JB. Jana won't be leaving. Unless she truly escapes, but I am sure JB is keeping a very short leash on her. He only presents men for courtship that she would turn down. Jill's cooking skills are nonexistent. She posts random recipes, that don't even look good. She can probably slap together a PB&J or casserole with 5 canned ingredients to be poured over noodles. Fresh vegetables, herbs, are beyond her repertoire. Her family probably bought the cheapest margarine tub on sale. The girl has probably never had real butter.
