I see on social media that Lawson is "in a relationship" with an actress. He may finally get a chance at the stardom he craves. Sorry to be so pessimistic but it is so obvious to me. I also called it years ago that Nathan and Lawson had some sort of pact or idea that they would not move forward until both of them had a relationship going. On another note, I am seeing on social media, for weeks now, why are Jinger and Jeremy not showing any pics of their kids since the new baby. I have one theory: They may be creating a mystery so they can get a magazine article to show the baby. Just my thoughts. Never any disrespect intended.

I see the bates family has been busy lately. Alyssa had her baby, Nathan has a girlfriend, lawson has a girlfriend who's a actress, which I'm really shocked. Wonder if she believes in the same things as the family. Also Erin has been having health issues, she had to have 1 ovary removed.

Yikes. I agree, this is way too much info! Considering how she was raised, it doesn't surprise me that she's so open with talking about this stuff. I remember the interview right before everything hit the fan with Josh. The "couples" shared how their code word is "hey hey hey" for sex. Anna was crying but played it off as pregnancy hormones. It's really concerning and kind of disgusting just how much they all share about the details of their sex lives. I remember when watching that interview, I was appalled that the reporter doing the interview was laughing along with them and acting like that behavior is normal. I also blame People magazine for feeding into all this with Jill and Derrick. Their just as bad as Jim Bob and Michelle, doing anything for media attention.

I think Nathan's girlfriend is the one from a large family (14 children) Lawson's girlfriend is from a family of only 2 children.
Lack of class. If Jill had ever had a chance to be around normal people, go to school, get a job, she would realize that breeding is not something people think about or talk about constantly. Just another example of how being raised "Duggar" is a handicap.
How could Lawson's girlfriend's family have similar beliefs if this young woman has been on TV ( a regular show) and dresses as she does..sleeveless, pants, etc? She and Lawson seem to be 'physical' with one another in photos....something the Bates parents stated was not allowed.
It's more likely for Nathan to match with a "big, wholesome, homeschooling family" girl than for Lawson. I hope both couples end up happy. Bateses seem a bit more free to find a spouse than Duggars. Jim Bob "auctions off" his kids to marry and keep the TV show going.
From what I've seen in some fundie families,it's less of a consideration if the sons have are physical before marriage than it is for the daughters.The girls,for some reason,are the ones who are kept virginal at all costs,while the guys are freer to what they want.Very different treatment between them.
Look at the Duggars.It wasn't a consideration if some of the guys marrying into the family might have had gf's before? But had a female been around,that would've been a huge NO,imo.Jmo
Yes. Apparently women who are not virgins are considered, "used spit cups". Hence, Anna needs to stay with Josh, forever, because she is not acceptable to any other man.
The fact that Josh had sex with a sex worker, is irrelevant. Anna, would have been kicked to the curb in a heartbeat if the roles had been reversed.
Look at the freedom the Duggar men have had, John was able to get a pilots license and fly around, the twins were able to move out, run for office...meanwhile, Jana is chained to the compound. She is allowed to travel, with JB as a chaperone.
The dual standard is epic.
Seems the parents relax the rules for adults who are courting .

Yes, I was wondering the same thing as Mickey2942. How many kids can Ben and Jessa skate with? They said Ben was "ordained" as a minister but he doesn't appear to be working at that, or am I missing something? I guess they are waiting until Counting On is actually cancelled and then they may have to work a little.

We never have know what it is that Ben did or does for a living other than TLC compensation via Jim Bob. What does that man do for a living is not an inappropriate question...especially as their family grows.
Sorry for actually thinking about being able to independently support children, before having them. It doesn't even look like Ben and Jessa could independently support themselves, let alone four children.

Hopefully JB gifts Ben and Jesse a new home to accommodate their ever-growing family. Jessa and Ben are one of the brain-washed Duggar couples who are always trying to prove to JB and his eye-batting, adoringly smiling wife that they are following the cult-tennents to a T. I used to think the Jessa would lead the rebels away from the family cult, but boy was I ever wrong. The financial gifts from the cult leader (I mean daddy) must be too great to pass on.
i am jill got away from duggar ville. I am also sad Erin is having many health problems. but I think it is because she had so many kids so soon. God bless her family. I am also thinking Kelly and Michelle have many health problems that they do not talk about. claire mother said on instgram Justin is not living with them. She told he is not. living with family. We know that is not true.
I’d normally agree, except, can they? At best the older kids received a kitchen table education from a woman who barely graduated high school before getting married and was constantly distracted by back to back babies. They turned around and had to instruct their younger siblings, and all miraculously “graduated” by 18 without ever really having time to study. I doubt any of the older kids could pass most 9th grade tests given in a public school, let alone a GED. It’s incredibly unfortunate that they were robbed of their education and future, but I don’t have any real hope that they could attend (and pass) an accredited college course without at least a year or two of remedial studies. They’re also so isolated (even the kidults) that I doubt they could handle an interaction with people who don’t share their beliefs.
I know Joy blocked me on Instagram just for questioning what Austin did with that Medicorps organization. Someone who can’t tolerate even a hint of criticism is not someone who can work well in a professional setting.
Their parents are bumbling idiots, but when it comes to their goal of educationally handicapping their daughters to ensure they stayed home, barefoot and pregnant, I think they knew exactly what they we’re doing.
Does anyone think it's ironic that Jill and family took a trip to the beach, and now we hear of Jessa and her family going to the beach. Coincidence? Or Jessa trying so hard not to have Jill one up on her? Especially for a family who doesn't go to the beach because of the "Nike" factor.

So much name-copying of babies in the fundie circles. Its so strange when you think about it. I believe it is another sign of the lack of education and thinking skills of the females in these circles. IMO, they are so stunted in their thinking skills and self-confidence, they have to copy each other on many issues, including baby names. So sad to me. It just seems indicative of so many other things in their lives that they cannot accomplish independently.

I think I remember that there was an announcement awhile back that Joe had gotten his real estate license. Maybe he is working at that.
I wonder if a bunch of the Duggar boys will rebel from the cult as they grow up. I always thought Jinger, Joy-Anna and Jedda would rebel and thought Jill was the most loyal to the parents and the cult. Boy was I ever wrong. I wonder about Johanna and the little lost girls, and Jackson. Guess time will tell. Breaks my heart to see so many children brainwashed and fearful they will be cast out if they don’t follow the daddy cult leader’s mandated.

Looking at the wedding photo of Justin and Claire-I can’t be the only who who thinks she looks amazing but looks 25 and he looks like a BABY!
Looking at the wedding photo of Justin and Claire today looked more like they were getting ready for junior prom. And how can they be best friends after only having a relationship for a few months. I would like for one of the Duggar couples to say that they love their spouse and just leave it at that instead of all the phony best friend proclamations.

It seems that Justin's new bride has the same great education as her husband. She is quoted as saying, although she & Justin haven't known each other for a long time, their families have. As she put it, "Justin's family & I's family have known each other for over 20 yrs." Same great command of the English Langue that the Duggars have!! Clair dear it should be, "Justin & MY family have known each other for over 20 yrs." And all these people are going to homeschool their kids!
