It's Christmas with the Duggars! Jana and Jessa organize a Christmas pageant, and the whole family pitches in to pull it off -- including Jim Bob, who has a very special role. In LA, Jinger and Jeremy cut down their first live Christmas tree together.

Another snore fest. How is this show still on television?
who's kids were blurred out on the grandkids picture gift they gave them at the end of the pagent?
Ea - Probably Jill's. I didn't see the blurring part but I wondered how they would show that. They didn't show Jessa taking pics of Jill's children.
It was horrible to blur out Isreal and Samuel from the Grandchildren's portrait just because they are no longer on the show. How will that make them feel in later years?!?
Why was Spurgeon continually scratching his left arm to the point of becoming red?
Seriously some of the Duggar grandkids were excluded from the picture/photo grouping that Jessa made? Perhaps it may have been the sons of Jill & Derick? If so that’s really cruel. This Duggar family is NO ministry.
Watched the Tues night episode of Counting On. It seems that Jinger has lost her spark. I realize she miscarried her 2nd baby but I noticed a change in her prior to the miscarriage. Jinger was controlled by Jim Bob now she’s controlled by Jeremy who appears to be similar in personality to Jim Bob. I wish that Jinger could pursue a career in photography as during this recent episode she appeared happy while taking the photography class.
So many of the adult Duggar daughters lives & education have been hijacked by Jim Bob. I really believe these girls are intelligent however they were never permitted to go to college or to pursue a career. They’ve been brainwashed their only value in life is to marry & continue to produce many children. That’s such an antiquated way to live especially in the 21st century when women have come very far & now with many opportunities available to them. I just don’t believe living in ignorance is mentally healthy. Jim Bobs choice to limit the education of his kids was a cruel, mean & disruption of their lives. If Jim Bob had been a good student during HS perhaps his opinion regarding education may not be skewed. Two of Jim Bobs son in laws are college educated Derick & Jeremy. In a way I am sure Jim Bob is not comfortable with this fact. Both Derick & Jeremy appears to have figured out Jim Bobs ridiculous way in which he chose to raise the Duggar kids. Each of the younger Duggar daughters do not appear happy but appear somewhat vacant in personality when on camera. Hopefully some of these younger Duggar daughters as they age will rise up & seek a life they desire.
It’s interesting that often Anna is seen in episodes of Counting On but never & thankfully creepy Josh.

I didn't watch the show, but this is super creepy. It seems like the kids don't have the right to have any boundaries. No wonder they were molested by their brother.
My dad used to do the same thing, “play horse” with me on his back like that. Definitely not when I was a teenager, and there was no sexual abuse at home. They need to be more careful.
How ironic that Jim Bob played a donkey in the Duggar kids Christmas pageant. Interesting hmmm.
I think Jim Bob may still harbor resentment & possibly anger about his HS experience. From what I’ve heard he wasn’t well liked & was not a good student so in a way it makes sense that he has chosen to believe education isn’t necessary however he’s wrong on so many levels.
Re Erin Bates Paine... Now that Erin & Chad have 4 kids will they continue to live in the two bedroom home. It appears they will probably have more children so moving into a larger home seems logical & hopefully they will move.
Many want to see Jana court & finally marry however I am dubious if & when this happens for Jana. I find Jana to be a bit immature which makes sense given her limited upbringing. Why did Jana organize a Christmas pageant? Jana could be doing so much more. I thought Jana had started a business but TLC & Counting On never focus on this segment of the program. They focus more on the lame rhetoric of Jessa. Why? Some enlightenment would be appreciated.
Regarding Krin's comment: Yes, I think the Duggars are their own worst enemy. They are stuck in a small circle of issues - babies, courting, weddings, silly child-like games and contests. I wonder if they are afraid to step up with new material as it might spiral out of control and go to issues they want to avoid and/or can't control. Sad. The Bates are a little more interesting, IMO. It seems they cover more of a variety of material, although, they are very similar and also tend to get a little boring.
What a snooze fest! Best thing i saw was Jim Boob as The Donkey...how fitting. No offense to Donkeys!
