TLC is showing repeats of the three specials beforehand.

Watching Jessa & Ben at some lame convention. The host or announcers voice OMG so horrid, lame & well dumb. Geez.

Im in complete disgust at Anna...we should call her 'Cleopatra' because she is the queen of denial...describing Joshie's 'wrong choices as a teenager' is ridiculous. She can't even bring herself to say the word molester...shes packing her bags right now and headed off to ' Josh's Christian recovery'..and she seems pretty stoked to go visit Mr.Doughboy...sickening.

Tanya T said...

Anna is going to visit Josh. She cannot even say the words " he molested his sisters" instead she calls it " the bad choice he made when he was a teenager" Really? She has no problem saying " affair " and " cheating on his spouse" ......this family is trying so hard to blow off what Josh did in his teens. Watching the rerun of Jessa giving birth, I find it creepy that it's JimBob announcing to the little ones that Jessa is in the pushing stage. If it's about pregnancy and birth they do not practice modesty at all. My father would have been too embarrassed to announce to anyone how far I was dilated or if I was pushing....little kids won't understand that stuff.

Jeanette said...

Anna is still an open wound, but she is really strong.

I don't understand how this family gets more upset that Josh was addicted to porn and slept with other women than the fact that he molested four of his sisters. They blame that on him being a curious teenage boy. I would bet that they blame his sleeping around on Anna. They most likely think she wasn't giving him enough "hey hey hey" time. Mullet has said that you should never say no to your spouse no matter what.

It surprising to see that the girls could hardly cook. And for jessa being a married woman, her mom sure didnt teach her much. Thank God for Jana

A fall feast? Could they not call it Thanksgiving since it wasn't Thanksgiving without Josh?

Then there was Jim Bob shoveling food in.

This spinoff is nothing but "19 Kids and Counting" repackaged!! Shame on TLC for allowing this to go on.

i don't think anna's strong in the least. she's one of the weakest, most pitiful people i've ever seen.

anna looked different last night. like she was beaten down. jesse looked awful her hair was a total mess. and seeing Jill take spanish lesson with her son? why don't you put him in a playpen so you can do your work? just seems like her and derrick i just not really there for the reasons they should be there for. and Ben and jesse are not a normal family? when does the father go to work. and jill and jesse only talk about having their sisters around. that not normal either. we need a break from our sister and family at some point?

Martha Washington said...

Jana is living out what would be her married life. She sews (albeit tacky bridesmaid skirt extenders) and rears children (luckily for the kids) and fixes her sisters cooking deficits and who knows what else. She does all this without having to give hey hey hey time to a scruffy boy with sinus breath, a clueless air, and a backwards cap. Remaining single might be Jana's best option.

Martha Washington said...

Annie, Jessa's mom taught her the only thing that really matters to these people--hey hey hey time on demand.

I stuck to my plans not to watch. It was easy! The few commercials I saw in the past weeks were just more than I could bear. It seems like Jessa is the new family spokesperson (instead of Michelle). Is that correct? It's nauseating just to think about, so not watching. I will still follow the blog, however, as hearing about them is not as bad as actually having to see them. Actually, its Jessa and Anna that are mainly bothering me.

CatMom said...

I am thinking Anna might have been told "don't say molestation." It is sad, though, that Josh's pedophilia is being glossed over and the affair seems to be the larger issue. Maybe Anna is more comfortable dealing with the word "affair" because it happened directly to her and she doesn't want to label the molestation because this deals with multiple people, some who have chosen not to speak on the subject. Sadly, I don't think even the girls or their parents want to accept that they had been molested...just that Josh had made a bad decision. I'm not sure. Either way, I hope Josh and his victims will get some real therapy sometime soon. The feelings are not going to go away.

Just Me said...

Please tell me when it's considered an "affair," when it involves a prostitute? This was not some girl Josh knew from his office or any social functions he attended. People this was a prostitute & they want to call it an affair?

A bad decision is stealing candy from a store when you were 10, not MOLESTING people. So, so gross. I refuse to watch this lying, disgusting family. Get professional help and stop clogging up our airways.

Jak&Jil said...

This is one big, dysfunctional family. Not only was Anna betrayed by Josh, she had to further humiliate herself last night talking about Josh cheating on her. Sorry, that conversation should just be between her, Josh and a qualified therapist. Anna also needs to get away from the Duggar house.

Just curious, but when Anna left to visit Josh with Meredith, was she driving to the airport or somewhere close? Makes me wonder where Josh really was.

I also loved how the girls bought two frozen turkeys and they were both thawed and ready to cook the next day!

Jessa seems more likable and not so self centered since she became a mom said...

That place of Jill and Dericks was a pig sty. It was nice that Jill and Derick were not shown much.
They greatly exaggerate the danger. If iwas so dangerous why did they have doors and windows open and why would Derick go off and leave Jill and Israel alone? They want you to keep sending money since none of us would be willing to go to such a scary place. Notice the nice expensive stainless steel fridge? She mentioned wifi so it isn't so primitive.

Jessa seemed like she is going to be a much better mom than poor ol Jilly Bumpkin can ever be.

Please keep Sierra Dominguez off. said...

I like Jinger but HATE her fake baby voice. Jessa looks so much like Michelle now and has the over the top bug eyes like Michelle.

I agree with Just Me, that it's an affair when a man starts taking a female co-worker out for a 3 hr. lunch or staying late at the office, to work with a female co-worker. When he starts contacting a service to provide him with a prostitute, it's a whole different ball game. Yes both are cheating, but with a friend of the family or a co-worker it's an affair, with a prostitute it's time to; first get yourself to a Dr.to rule out any STD's, & then call your lawyer immediately. Since I didn't watch, was wondering did Anna only say an affair? If she did, sorry to be so brutal, but she has her head up you know where. Anna listen to reason, he didn't have an affair. He frequented prostitutes & was addicted to porn. That's so far from an affair it can't be measured!

Believe said...

I absolutely believe Anna is pregnant but I don't think the family would want that information revealed just when their precious show was premiering!

Auggie said...

I got the sense, watching Anna, that she isn't happy about being forced to stay with Josh. I thought the brain washing would convince her it's the only thing to do, but she didn't seem ok with it. She seems her happiest when she gets to hang out with her sisters-in-law and be a Mom without Josh.

About her using the term, 'Josh's bad choices as a teenager', that's what she been taught to say. The whole family repeat the same set of words over and over again. The words that are used to explain the situation to them are the words they repeat back. They're great mimics, as they 'walk through' what ever they're dealing with.

of course... said...

An affair is an affair because it is cheating. And the fact he contacted the same prostitute more than once, is perhaps a fundies way of having an affair. Who knows what type of connection he felt with her in his disillusioned mind. Maybe that is why he kept seeing the same one.

Oh good grief! said...

Why does Sierra have to get her nose into everything? What was she doing on there this time? Maybe she wants her own show.

Sierra is so sloppy in those chocolate covered strawberries she throws together. As one with a degree in microbiology said after seeing some of that awful looking fruit dipped in chocolate, "the health department should be called". Her Facebook page looks like she is making them in her dirty kitchen. It looks like the berries are washed and drying on the families bath towels. I don't care to eat anything that has sat on a towel that someone dried their heiny on.

In regards to an affair, they may only know about the times Josh told them about, I think this goes way back, i wonder if this is why Anna spent all her time at his car lot, keeping an eye on him..

Some thoughts after watching the show:

1. Ben doesn't gaze goofily at Jessa anymore, which is OK with me.

2. It made me sad to hear Jessa say that the baby requires her full attention, and she can't work on "projects" for five hours straight anymore. Projects? What would those have been in Duggarland? For me, I was happily totally devoted to my new baby--he was my "project"! She might be feeling a little bit that way b/c she's nursing--that does require more attention and time.

3. As someone above commented--solidly frozen turkeys one day--- totally defrosted and oven ready the next day. HUH? Does TLC really think we are that stupid to believe that really happened???? The Wonder of TLC-vision! For a minute I thought maybe they bought fresh turkeys, but Jessa mentioned that she hoped they were defrosted enough. 20-ish # turkey takes about 5 days in refrig to defrost. If you do the cold water bath, you have to stay up and change the water every hour all night long.

4. Fall Feast??????? Maybe because they were just pretending it was Thanksgiving. (I'm getting flashbacks of the Gosselins and their pretend Christmas!) However, Joyanna slipped up then, and called it Thanksgiving.

5. Jessa is an awesome cook according to Jinger. According to Jessa herself, with Ben agreeing, she says she is not that great, and that she makes yogurt and eggs and snacks for meals.

6. Did anyone else hear Anna say she was packing a "goody bag" of snacks for "Joshua"? Good God, woman!

7. Derek is preachin' several days a week? (with the long facial hair and long regular hair he looks kinda scary) Izzy looks like a mini JB.

8. I thought the girls were cute together. It's nice to see them dress more fashionably and wear pretty makeup.

9. It's incredible to me that the family glosses over (and covers up) the whole molestation thing with Josh--and ---he's guilty of having an "affair" with no mention of addiction to porn and hiring prostitutes, etc. It's waaay more than that, Duggars! And now Anna is forgiving Josh for his "affair".

10. I've thought this for awhile: John David seems like a smug old redneck, with an attitude of a much older person. I do not find him likeable at all. JMHO.

Lilly said...

Personally, if I hear the words "walk through" one more time, I will Run or Sprint to the next TV Program.

After watching - and forcing my husband to sit through it with me:
1. Jill looks pregnant to me.
2. Why is all that make up a bit orange?
3. Why is Jessa laughing that weirdly and throws her head backwards when she is?
4. It was utterly boring: nothing happened. Jana seems to look up to Jessa and Jessa seems to have become Michelle
5. The fact that Jessa doesn't know how to cook and this "she's such a great cook" was ridiculous. Then again, when you look at the recipes the Duggars share on their homepage, I can't ever see fresh ingredients... It's all canned stuff...
6. I might be mean but I'm still surprised at how slow they are
7. Anna ... Poor girl to have been raised to be exactly who she is. I hope she is so indoctrinated that she is at least happy with her life.
8. I expect the next episode to be more interesting. If it goes on like this, who will want to watch that again? It's really boring and they do absolutely nothing ... Sad lives

I guess I missed Anna saying what was in the goody bag she was taking to Josh.

I betcha the Duggars talk to Jill and Derick everyday so were well aware before Jim Blob said it, that TLC would be paying for a bunch of them to come down to hand out candy on their families annuall Christmas Vacation....oops I mean mission trip. Gotta hand out something in order to write off the vacation. It may be a perk from TLC but they would most likely be taxed for it unless jb can do some sneaky trick.

Poor Derick was not a bad looking man until he married into this clan. It started with the hair. It is beyond hideous.

Jessa looks like she grinds her teeth.

Jill always looks unclean.

Sierra is a wanna be.

So Jessablessa the Ice Princess hasn't a clue how to boil water. What has she been doing with her time since marriage aside from looking at herself in the mirror? What a vain and useless girl. I thought Jinger's makeup was too heavy.

I think Derrick looks HORRENDOUS in the beard.

Why do people admire missionaries when essentially all they do is try to convert people? That's what it appears Derrick is doing.

If these girls think having one baby is so difficult, what are they going to do when they have 10?

The goody bag for Josh made me incredibly sad for Anna. The whole thing makes me incredibly sad for her.

It was refreshing that there was so little of Jim Bob and Michelle.

I felt sorry for JoHannah, basically being ripped from her identity and being trained to become a mother and wife, especially at such a young age.

I saw the older kids on the GMA interview and when John David announced that the girls like doing his laundry, I wanted to reach through the tv and shake him. And he should consider that he's 26 and has never had a relationship with a woman.

We will definitely "count on" these two dopes to misconstrue the truth, to complain about no time to herself (Jessa) to bore us with (Like) every other word (Jill), to talk about babies, babies, babies. To brag about being a midwife which she is not (Jill), to counsel us with their pseudo expert advice on marriage (Jill/Jessa), to subject us watching Ben & his rap group Flame. Perhaps some person will extinguish the Flame. To watching Jill & Derick walk around Central America doing nothing. Listening to Anna talk about Josh & of course always we must never forget "walking through". Well I choose to Run From this piece of Duggar junk TLC believes is entertainment it's Not!

With 19 kids, do you think they got them to take showers every day? It's hard for me to hound my kids every day and I have way fewer than 19

My take on Sierra is that she probably had some kind of skills and desires, but they were so suppressed by being a helpmeet, that this is her only outlet, doing the weddings and parties. She seems to love it so, but never got that good because of course she never had formal training or could even get a book out of the library

Re:Judy's comment about Johanna being ripped from her identity. That's excatly what ran through my mind, as Jana was saying how Hannie always was a tomboy, roughhousing with the boys, but now she wants to be with her sisters, cooking & shopping. That's B.S. I remember when Michelle had almost the identical words about Hannie, as she did about Joy. She has at various times mentioned how she would need to break those girls, Joy & Johanna of their tomboys ways, too much roughhousing. She wanted those girls to be ladylike, just like their older sisters. Hannie was always playing with Jackson, as a matter of fact most here will remember Jim Bob referring to them as being, like an "old married couple." I remember it well. When Michelle makes up her mind to break the spirit of one of her daughters, she goes at it full steam ahead & we never see the spark that those girls had in their eyes again. She's should be ashamed of herself. They can have their own personality & spirit & turn out to be wonderful young women, but Michelle will never let that happen. Talk about abuse, there are all kinds & we've seen it more than once in the Duggar family.

the Duggar kids emotions don't matter when Jim Bob wants to be the #1 "reality show" said...

Jim Bob force those kids and Anna to be put "on stage" and be ridiculed by the entire world. Where is Michelle's "mother bear" instinct that most of us got with the birth of a babythat would have even the most timid mom do anything to protect her cubs? Can any of you imagine selling out your children for money and fame by throwing them to the wolves? How sick is
that? And j bob and Michelle figure "let the chips fall where they may". collateral damage?

I'd like to shove a pie I'm his face and see how he likes it.

I knew a family who wouldn't consent to their daughters' engagement until the girls had a reasonable grasp of how to run a home and cook basic things. It is really not too much to ask. Michelle should be embarrassed at how little some of her girls know about running the home especially since they all spent every single moment at home.

I have an idea! Obviously people are watching the show, complaining to TLC / Discovery is doing nothing. Mari said...

Sometimes I think Jessa going on about how she can't cook is a way for her to "distinguish" herself as a non-duggar-robot daughter. I'm remembering a lot of Instagram posts when she first got married and it looked to me she could cook just fine. She was cooking things like omelets, fish and vegetables, and even a roasted turkey. It's just shtick for the tv show that Jessa "can't cook".

Re:Andrea's post. A blogger named Bobbie provided us with all the pertinent email addresses. phone numbers, contact info for sponsors, TLC & Discovery, etc. to try & keep the Duggars from coming back on TV. Unfortunately it didn't work. We have all sent thanks for the information she provided & if you look back into other months you'll find the information. Bobbi has moved on to other endeavors as have others, who have put heart & soul into the project. None of it did any good. TLC lied to us saying they were not sure if they would bring the Duggars back, & all the while they were filming them. Good luck with any attempts you make.

I know I've heard Michelle talk about Thanksgiving. Also they had Thanksgiving at Josh & Anna's home in D.C. that time when they called Anna from the road & said they would be there a day early, & she had to have the dinner ready that day, instead of a day later. When you think of it, they were really abusing Anna way back then. Also when they didn't deliver the furniture, when Josh & Anna were moving. One minute everyone is on board & loading up the truck, the next minute Jim Bob decided they should stop at the Bates home, instead of driving straight on. Then he decided to stay an extra day, because he was enjoying himself so much.I remember when they called Josh to say they wouldn't be there until the next day. Josh & Anna had a brand new infant Marcus. Michelle in a talking head moment to the camera, laughed & said "they can sleep in their camper tonight." It's Halloween they don't celebrate, because of the references to witchcraft etc. I remember that at Thanksgiving the girls had to make a pumpkin pie, because that's "Daddy's favorite pie." So there was just one pumpkin pie for Daddy, & & all the rest had apple pie.

Ben is so tired that he is yawning yet TLC needs a story line so badly they think we Will believe that he and Jessa are just dying to have the whole family over when Spud is about 4 weeks old. Oh yes that is what all new moms want to do since they have nothing else going on.

I think a dunk tank that dropped Jim Bob in it every time he makes some innuendo or dry humps.

Shame on the Duggars said...

Michelle doesn't even realize what she doesn't know so she thinks since the girls attempt to cook then they must know how.

What is keeping the Duggars on said...

As long as TLC has viewers, even if viewers cannot stand them and claim they only watch in order to snark Jim Bob will continue to rake in the big bucks.

And poor Anna has no choice but to have the world see her suffering.

It is going to take a huge Jim Bob scandal to get this boring bunch of hicks off the air.

As far as the girls cooking, or anything else for that matter: Compare Michelle to Kelly Bates, who actually still cooks, some of the time. She also apparently helps her girls cook and tries to teach them hands-on. It was on the Bates show just this past Thursday. I can't even picture in my mind Michelle doing such things. Tori even said it was more fun with her mom helping. What a difference between the two moms (I am only talking in reference to helping daughters with learning to cook, etc. right now). Michelle probably handed Jana and Jill a few written recipes when they were about 7 years old and then said, "Yep, guess they are good with that". As we have all stated a million times, she is just an embarrassment as a mother.

Sierra Dominguez is just like the Duggars. She decided she was a wedding planner so by golly, she attached that title to herself. She is inept and her work is sloppy and not thought out. If she only knew how many people around the world have enjoyed her making a doofus of herself---running with her hair on fire. (Yep, even here in her own hometown we are laughing.) It is obvious that she has absolutely no skills for this. (Have you seen the horrible looking strawberries she sells? The stems are brown, not green.) When one is so insecure they have a need to get attention. Jim Bob and Sierra, your extreme insecurities are showing.

Sierra Jo Dominguez, You have beautiful children and you do write well. Try something that you do well, instead of trying to get your face on tv and acting so goofy on there.

Good points, Ginger, about how the Duggars have disregarded Anna's feelings all along (with the example at Thanksgiving). I also remember the episode where they were moving, and they deliberately packed the bouncer seat for the baby way back in the uhaul storage unit. I blame the camera guys for not doing anything about that.
This is just a huge disgrace that TLC, the camera crew, and the Duggars are still continuing with this show. So very sad.

No thank you said...

Not a Sierra show. Then we'd have to watch her go visit the Duggars. And they'd all sit around making crazy eyes.

I always thought it was a "set up" with the Duggars staying behind an extra day or whatever it was, while Josh and Anna were moving to their new place. There was the camera crew getting Josh and Anna's reaction....and was there really a whole second camera crew that stayed behind to be with the Jim Bob group and get their reaction? Why would they, unless the whole charade was planned or it was staged to look like that is what happened. I don't think so...but it got lots of people talking about how rude it was.

AND TLC loves people talking about their shows...even if it is negative at least people clamber to watch and see what stupid, inconsiderate thing they do next.

I think that in some sick way Jim Bob is thrilled to have things happen that makes for more viewers (Josh getting caught in the groping of the girls and the Ashley Madison has kept viewers talking and watching... as well Josie's struggle at birth, Anna's pain, the agony of labor, the toilet birth, the child who fell off the stage, Jubilee's death, Jordan who got her head stuck, Jim Bob turning Josie upside down to see her poop-stained pants, Hannie needing stitches, Derick's pain and changing appearance, Jim Bob's dad as he was in his last days and no dignity was shown that poor man.....I am sure you all had some you had noticed.)

Jim Bob NEVER wants himself to be shown in a bad light. Well, Jim Bob some of us are disgusted every time we make sure to get in the shot. And stop the gross F.O. (food orgasm) when you take a bite of something and mug for the camera. It is just nasty looking.

Cedric regarding Sierra
Reading her blog "The lady doth protest too much" about how incredibly happy she is with a guy who was 26 when she was still in high school and who, after only 6 weeks told her he loved her...and they were not even dating! He showed up at her house, came in to where she was in her bedroom and told her that...??? That is what she said. Sounds like an immature guy thinking he had more in common with a high school girl. Maybe she thought she was real special that an older man decided he was in love with her.

When you look at his pictures he looks like a little kid. And of course they have to have lots of pictures with them acting so loving for the camera. (Reminds me of over the top Jim Bob/Michelle & Derick/Jill)

I think we know who wear the pants in that family, even if they look like skirts.

The decisions I made at 18 I would NOT make now. UGH! To be tied down at such a young age!

If he just works in a furniture store then maybe she is trying to be the breadwinner to that family of 7. So she feels like she has to horn in and get on tv, making a business of dipping strawberries- that are past their prime- in melted chocolate chips in her kitchen and selling them 3/$9.99 (wait ...a fundie woman business owner?) Sierra can't help the size of her nose and honestly, it's not the problem. She is rather pretty and in good shape for having given birth to many babies in a few short years. The problem is her thirst for tv fame. It's so obvious it's painful to watch. I feel awkward for her since she clearly doesn't feel awkward enough herself.

OH please share the link to Sierra's blog! I must see this! :-)

I didn't see Sierra on this episode but her story scares me. She is not a Duggar, she was raised completely differently than the Duggar/Bates children, and yet she is having as many babies as she can as fast as she can. Her instagram is filled with pictures at the Duggars' home/events. She already has 5 children and who knows how many more will follow. This, among SO many other things, is proof to me that their "faith" is a cult. They have introduced their "faith" to an insecure young woman, she is now married, and living exactly how she is told to live by this belief system. Not in her, or her many children's best interest.

If you google Sierra Jo Dominguez yu will find tons of things as she WANTS everyone to see her. You can see her Facebook. (They do rather well for someone with lots of kids and a husband who works in a furniture store.) Her blog is under Team Dojo
dojosdesigns.blogspot.com
Her business is on facebook as dojosdesigns (but still wondering how can a fundie wife have a business??? I wonder if Jim Bob is aware that his girls are associating with some woman who has the nerve to do that!

On her business facebook look at the photos. She has things with the Duggars names on them. She was "sucking up" to them way back to endear herself to them. And some of those strawberries have dried out stems. She is pretty messy with her work and it sells to dimwits who don't realize that Paula Deen and Shari of Shari's Berries have both shared their recipes for chocolate covered strawberries and it is simply dipping strawberries in melted chocolate chips. (If anyone cares I will find the site that has them both on it.)

Here is that link where Paula Deen and Shari's Berries tells how to make chocolate covered strawberries for pennies (that Sierra charges an arm and a leg for each one!)

As long as Jim Bob is getting freebies for his family I don't think he cares if the owner of a business is male or female. The bottom line is it's free! I believe he got a substantial discount on Jill's wedding dress, because they kept repeating over & over the name of the business & of course it was filmed for the show. It was run by women who supposedly were friends of Anna's, although I don't understand how they could be. They went all the way from AR to DC & then to either MD or VA to buy that gown. How Anna made friends with those women I don't know.

Brazen said...

I am surprised that Jim Bob would want Sierra hanging around his daughters and giving them the idea that a woman can support her family.

What I don't understand is how they can say that they just don't know if they can forgive Josh, when they have been showing care and love on tv for the last decade, in regards to the molestation. Or, are they upset because now everyone knows?

I mean, are they only upset at him because of the Ashley Madison debacle and the stripper??? If so, why are they so upset? He is not their husband. Does anyone understand what I am trying to say here? I understand that it has affected their bottom line and livelihood.

It just irks me that they are upset about something that a few years ago, they didn't see upset about at all.

I can't watch the show any longer-the baby voices, the lack of education, the hypocrisy, the lack of ever working a regular job, etc. So bye bye.

Jessa has started to do the bug eye look like Michelle. I also don't know if she was trying to be funny about the butter is healthy comment or not.

Jill didn't allow Josh to be in her wedding and we wondered why then*. He had to have attention so he made sure he acted up when the bridal party was going down the aisle.

*So I don't think that she had REALLY forgiven him then.

One thing going against the Duggar TV show (as if there aren't enough) is that, plainly and simply put... the kids are growing up. I know they still have little ones, but a good chunk of them are grown. So what I think hurts the tv show appeal is that we see them all going nowhere. Before people may have been interested to see Jinger become a photographer, or even Jill be a midwife. But now, they are doing nothing, and it just doesn't make for an interesting show.

Elle said...

Denisean, Since the Duggar girls can't do the things that a normal woman can...Sierra thinks she can step in and do things other fundie women can't. Who takes care of Sierra's FIVE babies while she is speeding around trying to keep her buggy eyed face in front of any camera that is rolling. She does say she is passionate about anything she does. She certainly is throwing herself into trying to be recognized around the world. And yes, I too, thought she was much older than she is

Oh I hear you. Why would the family be so upset about Josh's infidelity? They aren't married to him, Anna is! I could see them being angry at him for cheating on his wife, but to CRY about it months later? It's not about his indiscretions. It's about the money he cost them. in a normal family Josh's deeds would have resulted in some angry family members and some time given to the couple to work things out one way or another. Not an emotional breakdown by the family followed by a six month rehab stint and close monitoring of the wife (who did NOTHING WRONG) by the inlaws. And even MORE crying six months later as family members struggle to deal with the idea that Josh may be rebelling against their lifestyle. too many people crushed by this to believe it's real. Sorry.

I just can't understand why TLC/theDuggars allow Sierra all that air time. Why? I think, if Sierra wanted air time, and the Duggars said no, TLC would have to give her a show of her own. Maybe that is what the D's are trying to avoid. However, would TLC really think she could sustain a show of her own? I highly doubt it, so back to the question of why. (hope this made sense). I mean, she adds nothing to the Duggar show at all.

Apparently the companies whose advertising was used on TLC for the Jill & Jessa & Counting show, are just furious. They have informed TLC that they did not have their permission to use their ads & want nothing to do with their company advertising any shows connected with the Duggars.
You can contact these companies at Facebook Group called: Contact Sponsors # NO MORE DUGGARS!

Could you imagine Sloppy Jo Dominguez with her own show? She has that nose in all the Duggars business.* Maybe she could have them on HER show.

I wouldn't watch her and the idiotic things she does (and she thinks she is cute). The only way I might watch is if she gets those crazy eyes to spinning in different directions.

Imagine if they putnori prong ol Sierra and her brood in place of the Duggars. I betcha the wouldn't be besties anymore. I hope Sierra considers the cost of having her mug on tv. I noticed on her blog she refers to herself as damaged goods. She may not want people turning over rocks to find out what that means

I find it difficult to believe that Sierra and Jessa are good friends, or real friends at all for that matter. Did you all notice how uncomfortable Jessa was when she arrived at Sierra's house? Her body language and facial expressions were nothing but uptight and uncomfortable. Those two, if you ask me, barely know each other.

Another thing; when watching Anna speak in this "Counting Down" series, has anyone noticed how she has changed? Her voice, speech patterns, she twists her mouth to one side; just doesn't come across as the same person at all to me...other than spewing those same old and tired platitudes. What's wrong with Anna?

Sierra' s mom Sharon Baird, looks younger than Sierra Jo Baird Dominguez. Sharon is also pretty.

Sloppy Jo in a show. OMG Inwould prefer to watch paint dry.

Dragging on.....with the Duggars and said...

From what I can tell Sharon Baird (who was on the show once (well, that I remember)is actually the step-mom to Sloppy Jo Dominguez.

Sharon Baird is very pretty and looks younger than poor Sierra Jo (Sloppy Jo) . If you look at Sharon Molyneux Baird's facebook notice the date she married Sloppy Jo's Dad:9/4/94

That is 21 years ago. Sloppy Jo is 26, as of Sept. So Sloppy Jo was 5 when her dad David Gene Baird married Sharon. David is 53 and it shows Sharon, her stop-mom is 45.

Sidebar: Sierra Jo Dominiguez's husband Mark Dominiguez husband will be 35 in June (born in 1981).

What isn't wrong with Anna. She courted and then got engaged to Josh. They had hand sex until they got married. She started having babies while Josh was watching porn and took it one step further by having sex with other women. She was more upset about that than the fact that he molested four of his sisters. She has been trained to believe that divorce is never an option no matter what. Her parents don't seem to care so she is staying in a bedroom with her sisters in law. She is supposed to be a grown married women with four kids who has no idea how to cope in the real world. She thought she was marrying into gothard royalty when she married Josh. She is most likely being made to feel that all of Josh's issues are her fault since she is a woman and Josh won't take the blame. If she was smart she would separate from him and make him pay child support and get her kids and herself far away from Jimboob and Mullet.

I find it odd that I cannot find a thing on a big to-do for 18 year old Sloppy Jo's wedding to her 8+ years older husband. Does anyone have a clipping or find anything in a newspaper archives? I'd love to read about what stupid over-the-top things they did for THAT wedding. Maybe she entertained everyone by spinning her bugged out eyes in opposite directions at the same time.

Maybe she is trying to make up for what she didn't have at her wedding by doing this hideous stuff for others. She is HORRIBLE at it.

Interesting..... Sloppy Jo Dominguez's step mom (Sharon Baird) on linked in shows the company she works for does ads . one shows it is a wacky one that gets peoples attention. hmmm... Wonder if that is why Sierra Jo Dominiguez acts wacky including with her googly eyes.

I really don't see how this Counting On or rather Dragging On Mess could last much longer. The entire premise of this disaster show is about changing light bulbs, Jessa staring at her son, Jessa vocabulary challenged meaning "like" every other word, the girls going to lunch & the only topic of conversation is "Babies". Jana planning to build a treehouse with the aid of her brothers. TLC has definitely scraped the bottom of the barrel or the TLC "creative" team has left the building. This last Counting episode, I tried very hard to become interested but was just irritated. I changed the channel & watched several very Entertaing episodes of the Middle.

Cedric said...

Frankly, I prefer to doing Taxes vs watching the pathetic & desperate for attention at any cost, Duggars.

Chloe said...

I think that Sloppy Jo is Not Smart. SJ Comes off very needy & overly solicitous. SJ more boring than the Duggars.

Helen Crump said...

Why in the world would a supposedly 26 year old woman be the least interested in building a tree house? Either this "girl" is emotionally a 12 year old, which IS quite possible in that family, or it obviously is scripted nonsense for this pathetic tv show. Either have episodes of quality, truth about their belief system, or call it quits and fade in to the sunset..they are addicted to the pay checks.

Is that Joy? said...

I think they tell the kids how they are supposed to feel and what to do so poor Jana has to mess with that stupid treehouse. When the spirit is broken and their joy is taken that is just wrong on so many levels.

I don't think Michelle has much joy. The idea that they use joyfully available in the context that she has to let that dirty old man Jim Bob do what he wants to her body.
Ewwww.... That makes me want to hurl.

Jamison said...

Interesting the Duggar parents Purposefully & deliberately Removed the joy from their kids lives yet they named one of their daughters Joy.

When they realized there was no Joy in their home. said...

Jamison,

They had to have some Joy somewhere in that house.

Little late here, but I wonder how much of the Bates show is staged to avoid looking like the Duggars. I feel they are trying to say'Look at us, we're not like the Duggars See how mom is cooking with the daughters. One of the daughters started to wear pants and another went to college.".Take the sugar-coated layers off and the Bateses are still the same.
