Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. I'm actually shocked. Never thought I'd see this. Although it's probably just for exercising, not something she'd wear regularly.
What, what What!!! Is that Jinger ( that hussy) wearing pants? Be still my heart, can't be. I'm sure she has a skirt over it! LOL This family really has to clarify things about their beliefs..just can't believe it..
This is wonderful. I had a feeling that once she got older, she'd start to break loose just a little bit. I wonder if we will see her on the show pants on.
I felt like Jessa was starting to break away a bit last season, with that attitude she was throwing at grandma. I think she's had enough and ready to get out of the compound.
LOL I'm laughing so hard, it's funny how we get so exiting over a duggar girl wearing pants, but it is so exiting WOW. I can totally picture Jessa, Jinger, and Joy Anna (and all of the little ones) wearing pants after they get married. Isn't Mackenzie wearing pants in this video http://videos.huffingtonpost.com/the-duggar-family-live-518151986
Yay! Though I'm always suspicious that the Duggars do things in response to feedback left on websites such as this...i.e., "The girls aren't given a choice as to whether or not to wear pants," and lo and behold, Jinger is wearing pants! And photographed in the, to boot! But, still, it's a good thing.
Other observations. Josh is home YET AGAIN? What kind of job does he have where he is never at his office and doesn't seem to do anything but hang around his parents? And why do the Duggars always have random other people at their house? I guess it's all the fellowshipping or encouraging or whatever fake verbs they come up with.
A household so busy as Michelle claims it is surprisingly has "friends or guests" photographed often. Poor Jana, more to cook/clean for. Obviously, Michelle has nothing better to do than hang out with the young people, one of which she isn't any more and should resolve herself to being adult. I'm so emotional about this picture with the pants and all, that I hope this makes sense...
And First Prize goes to Sharla for picture of the day. Jinger better watch out or the parents will send her to one of those Christian Girls Camps for disciplinary problems. How dare that Jinger wear the pants in the family! Glory Be Jimboob! You better put a stop to that. I wonder where that Big Headed Boob Josh gets the money to spend more time in Arkansas that at his abode in Washington D.C. Plane fare can be expensive. How come we don't see photos of Anna and the kids on some of these Josh visits back home. I wouldn't be surprised if the Duggar Parents plopped one of the offspring in D.C. to keep Anna company while Joshie travels the country/world. I hope it will be Jinger. She needs a break from being a Stepford Child. I also agree- Run Jinger Run as far as you can go. Don't forget to take your share of the tv earnings with you either.
Sad, but I doubt any of the kids gets their fair share of the TV earnings. I'd also like to know when "school" is taught. We never see that - and they are never home. I don't think a jillion book tour stops qualify as "field trips".
Ok, it's finally happening. The man behind the curtain will be reveled! In a few years that tell all Duggar memoir will be on the best seller list. Page 1, first paragraph - "It all started with a pair of pants..."
And Josh with his pie hole open again. Have we ever seen a picture of it shut?
Wouldnt it be nice if Jana and Jinger could get their hands on their portion of the TLC money and just go? I think maybe Jinger would... Jana is just too beaten down.
That's how it began with Anna's sister Susanna. Pants and then her own identity. Maybe Jinger is forging her own path. Then again, knowing the Duggars, they will have a clever response as to why she is wearing the pants.
I'm new to DWOP so bear with me! On tonight's episode, Michelle talked about wanting to adopt. This scared me. Adopted children don't always do well in families that have a lot of birth children, and I am afraid that The Duggars would adopt only to fulfil their own needs. What do folks think?
I think the adoption chatter is just all talk for the show. The Duggars are on the road and on the bus far too often to qualify for any sort of adoption.I think they would be req. to be home most of the time, have a separate room set up for the child, and other things as well. And their political trekking seems too imprt for them to stop now.JMO though.
Not that we should live our lives according to a set of myths and legends passed down from Bronze Age desert-dwelling tribesmen, but the bible doesn't forbid women to wear pants: it forbids them to dress like warriors. NOBODY wore pants in biblical times. Has JimBoob even READ the bible or did he just hear from someone that it says men are way better than women (who are a bunch of whores and temptresses) and that the gayz are going to hell?
Please don't be worried. Michelle ha been talking about that since her last miscarriage(Jubilee)If you notice (Jubilee) If you notice Jim Bob doesn't have much to say about that. It's been discussed for sometiime here and most think it's just to keep the show going. Did you see the time the time they announced Michelle was pregnant a ew years ago and the producer said " Jim Bob,you sure know how to keep a show going), in reference to another baby. on
That's so awesome...go Jinger! I remember watching the episode when Michelle announced that she was pregnant with #20. The (facial) reactions of Jinger, Josiah and Joy Anna were priceless, like "are you kidding me?!?!" I wish some of them would put their adult feet down and get the *%&% out of there. There's more to life than raising Mom's kids dammit!
Not only is she wearing pants she is also wearing sneakers. I wonder if they were bought new or at the thrift shop. Looks like rebellion in Duggarland. I think you are right Rudy Tecat. She just might have bought herself time at Gothard Camp. But then again with two of the girls courting Michelle might actually have to help raise her own kids and then she wouldn't have as much time to devote to Jimboob.
Jinger has always been my favorite, she seems more outspoken and spunky than her other sisters. I also see a bit of mischief in Johanna's eye, she will be a hand full as she gets older!
It's about time the Duggar girls started dressing like they live in the 19th Century (tee hee). Seriously, I hope Jinger and all the girls are able to think objectively about the lives they want and then seek those lives out--regardless of what their parents might want for them.
I am confused about the reasons for young girls and babies to be dressed modestly... I mean who in their right mind thinks of their two or three year old daughter as needing a long skirt to cover her up as not to be looked at in a sexual way? It is odd and gross! These people have some very sick issues when it comes to dress and sexuality... I can only imagine this house and family off camera!
What's so great about Jinger wearing the track suit, it looks SO good on her! She looks normal!
Jana and Jinger and Joy should team up and secretly get a lawyer and sue JimBoob and Michelle for their money, ALL OF IT. Even sue for Joy to get emancipated. Then they could move away, go to college, Joy in High School, Joy could go to her prom with a date and the dance. She deserves it. Mom and Dad have taken so much advantage of them!
Anna needs to help her sister and nieces and nephews! How could Anna's parents allow their daughter and seven grandchildren live in that kind of situation?
Super shocked that this was caught in a photo….I wonder who took the photo and how it actually leaked online. I always wondered if the girls wear pants when it's just them at home…I'm surprised that Jinger wore them with Ben around though….lol
I read that Anna said she always wears skirts in DEFERENCE to men! So, that means she is stating that she is less than a man; number two, not as smart, not a leader, stands behind men. What is wrong with that girl? and yes, she STILL is a girl, emotionally. I would be embarrassed to make such a stupid public statement such as that. I would be downgrading myself right off the bat... NEVER.
Anna shouldn't use words that she doesn't know the meaning of. Goes to show you what a great SOTDRT she had; also shows how qualified she is as an elementary school teacher. Send your kids to a real Christian school...do them a favor. ( and yourself ). There is really something going on with Jana. She needs to speak up about herself and address that. I think she is the one we all really care about of the older daughters. She is and has been a woman for quite some time now, but isn't allowed to be one.
Did anyone else notice that when Jinger was doing the packing she said she packs for everyone from Joseph down Josie. The older ones do their own packing. I have heard Jessa say the same thing in the past. Although, Joy did say that she now does her own packing as she has her own style. The only older ones at home are Jana and John David as Josh is out of the house. Joseph doesn't do his own packing? How old is he? He was sitting at the counter with John David making a joke about Ben helping with loading the clothes on the bus. I was thinking if Michelle did her own laundry (instead of Grandma) and did her own packing for trips (instead of Jessa or Jinger) she probably wouldn't have 19 kids,as Jim Bob would never see her. She would be in he laundry room or clothing room, instead of in the bedroom.
Allison, I re-watched that episode and she did say Joseph down to Josie. Amazing that he could complete Alert Training and still not do his own packing.
Michelle would certainly be in the laundry room more if it were't for gma.She said in their first book she had a breakdown, crying over having to stay up late dong laundry, until she was sent a 'laundry angel' (iirc it was the person giving the kids music lessons). And she also said she had to get up in the middle of the night to move clothes from the washer to the dryer,I think when they only had one of each in the early years.
The Duggars are aware that these sites exist and I understand that they do read them. Since the don't believe in females wearing pants, they really need to respond/or someone representing them should address this picture of Jinger in pants with no skirt over it! It's a small thing, but quite a big NO NO to the Duggar family to wear pants. They should explain why she is dressed as such.
It's probably just for exercising. My sister went to school with girl whose parents were very religious. They didn't let her wear pants (only long skirts). She trained volleyball and during the match she was wearing normal jersey. But when match was finished she immediately went in locker room to change in her long skirt. In every photo of celebration after winning a competition (while all other girls were still in jersey or at least in a track suit) she is the only one who is dressed up in regular clothes. Very stupid and unnecessarily, IMHO
"G"inger has worn pants before. In the episode where they go turkey hunting she is in full camouflage which includes wearing pants. So I agree that this track suit was worn purely for exercising. All this craziness is purely the work of insanity that is Jim-Boob. Michelle seemed to be a normal girl having fun being a cheerleader and throwing crabapples at trucks as they rolled by. But then Jim-Boob comes along and was somehow taken in by Bill Gothard's cult. He brainwashed his wife into the ways of the cult and that is how it's been ever since. You notice that his very own mother and sister wear pants. Even they know better! Thank you Mr. Gothard for all the damage you have done to so many of these Christian families.
You go Girl! Have a dance in those athletic pants! Go to college and get more knowledge. Become a nurse! Doctor! Don't get married and have babies. Use your brain that God gave you girlfriend. Us Christian women have to get out in the world and minister in the workplace too! ROCK ON!

Better yet, Jessa's bare toes are touching Ben's ankle!
Tracks pants and sneakers run Jinger run!
Seems to make sense it's Jinger. Go girl! Get outta there!
Jinger, you are halfway there! You have your track pants and sneakers on, so RUN, JINGER, RUN!!
WTH!!!
I wonder who took the picture?

I think it's just another stunt; Duggars trying to appear to fit in more with the rest of society. Not that it was Jinger's idea though.jmo.
Jessa is sitting NEXT to Ben. Nobody between them. M is not even looking. AND I absolutely see Jessas knee.
As to Jinger: RUN!
And Josh with his pie hole open again. Have we ever seen a picture of it shut?

Jinger just wore the pants to go to walmart,I hear it coming.LOL.

Looks like Jinger just bought herself a trip to the Gothard Camp in Michigan for a couple of weeks!

Shouldn't Jessa's knee be blacked out there, like Michelle's were when she was waterskiing? just saying.
I am confused about the reasons for young girls and babies to be dressed modestly... Isn't that Ben's little sister Danielle? She is cute. Can't tell if that is his mom there also.
What's so great about Jinger wearing the track suit, it looks SO good on her! She looks normal!

Yes Ben's mother is seated next to his sister.

I'm not sure Anna really understands the def. of deference? She may just be spouting off what she's been told.
Jana seems depressed.

Michelle couldn't cope with her "growing family"? Well, think maybe God is telling her something? keep your legs closed, girl!
It was ok to continue, because she found others to do the work for her? Not so Christian,, is that?
