Courtship, wedding, pregnancy, birth, repeat. Groundhog Day again on the Duggar compound. What does Joe do to be able to support a wife, and children?

Who is next for the Duggar plan? John David? I don't find the younger children interesting at all, they just seem to be part of the pack...I can't keep them straight.

If you've seen one Duggar wedding, you've seen them all. Horrible decor ideas off Pinterest, cheap dresses altered to be conservative, all the adult Duggar daughters as bridesmaids, the Bates girl pounding on the piano, Miss Cindy trying her best to get the Duggar boys to cooperate/decorate, Jimbob showing up in his grey "wedding suit". Throw in atleast one juvenile Duggar prank during the ceremony, followed by the bride and groom awkwardly trying to kiss and then proceeding to run out of the sanctuary.

The reception will be on the cheap, in the entryway of the church. Josie Duggar, the miracle child will have licked and fingered up everything before the guests even have a chance to get in line. The guests can forget about sitting unless it's on the floor. Expect chips, pickles, ice cream or a homemade cupcake by Sierra. The get-away car will be something off the Duggar Used Car Lot and it will be decorated by the immature Duggar boys.

Somewhere during the wedding episode, we will be subjected to flashbacks to every Duggar wedding except Turd and Anna's.

The only interesting thing will be the honeymoon episode which, unfortunately will air next season.

Instead of showing the weddings, how about them moving out of their childhood homes for their new home. Packing and unpacking. It would be fun to see the bridal showers and wedding gift opening.

Great. Another snooze-fest. Boring.

Whenever they show the family eating at home, they're using plastic utensils and paper plates. Why on Earth aren't they using real dishes? With their industrial kitchen you would think they could run the dishwasher. What a waste to use all these disposable items.

Joe and Kendra looked like prom kids? Kenra acts like the Energizer bunny. And looks like a Barbie doll? I wonder what daddy Duggar does to find these girls for his sons. I am sure he is out looking for someone girls for John David and the next boys in Line. Wonder what he does all working the phones to find girls for his sons.

Even though we had seen most of it before, I found it better than I expected (the wedding). The thing I hate the most is how creepy the interaction between father and daughter is sometimes. Jill and JB were like that as well. It just seems to cross the line for me. Maybe I'm just too reserved. I felt Rev. Caldwell and Kendra just WAY overdid it!

I did enjoy seeing Joe and Kendra's house however. Very interesting to actually see Duggar kids out there working hard. They seemed to have a grasp of what they were doing. I got the impression the cabin house is pretty close to the main house, so I agree with their speculation that this could potentially be a problem. It did seem roomier than Joy's or Jessa's homes. I assume any houses located on the Duggar property can only be rented. Does that mean they pay rent to Grandma? It will be interesting to see if they come up with a similar situation for Josiah and Lauren. Maybe Joe will rent that house until he can save enough to buy his own house down the line.

Why were the Duggar boys running electricity to that cabin? They are NOT licensed electricians NOR are they the electric company. Doesn't their power company have to run initial power lines out to a structure? How are they getting away with planting a house on a piece of property without an engineer, permits and county building inspections? Will someone please explain why they were doing this?

Re:Betsy Veneziano's comment about the plastic utensils & paper plates. Well that's a question as old as the blog. People have been asking that as long as the Duggars have had their TV show, considering they actually have 2 commercial dishwashers. Jill, Jessa & Anna, also use paper plates & plastic, even though they are SAH moms & should be able to handle the dishes for a family the size of theirs. Even when Michelle had company, she used the paper & plastic. We all remember the time she was beside herself, with excitement, acting like a schoolgirl, because Dr. Charles Stanley, well known TV evangelist, came to visit & give the Duggars a copy of his new book. He was served tater tot casserole on paper plates & he used plastic utensils. I can't remember how many people have asked the question, why do they use paper & plastic & then say they don't have a huge carbon footprint? The Duggars will immediately respond by talking about how they buy in thrift shops, as well as, buy used & save the difference. The last time I looked, you could not reuse paper plated & plastic utensils. So I have no idea how they rationalize their statements.

There's a people magazine article about the wedding, Kendra is quoted "One of the most enjoyable things about being married to Joe is just being together so much,” added Kendra. “I can hug him, kiss him, talk with and be with him all the time. Being with your best friend make marriage amazing.”
So sad and messed up that the first actual friend you have becomes your husband, youve never been alone with this person so you have no idea what they are really like. Before getting married you've never gotten to have ANY physical affection or a private conversation. These things don't make for a good marriage.

I think Kendra resembles more of a munchkin,not a barbie doll,but that's just me.LOL

I did think Kendra looked like a Barbie doll or American doll in her wedding photos. Especially some of the newest released ones on the Duggars page. She is gorgeous in those photos! She could of been a bridal gown model. But she will for now on be barefoot and pregnant.

At that age, the hormone factor can make up for glaring problems. That lasts a few years, then, when it is time to actually work at a marriage, many just focus on the children.

The hypocrisy of the Duggars is quite staggering, JB met Michelle, and actually had time to know her, from other girls at school, Michelle had dated others too. But they deny that very experience from their children, the ability to find a partner, and choose. Instead, the partner is "presented", now, make it work.

If Kendra is such a "precious" blessing to her parents how could they approve such a rushed courtship and engagement to a man who realizes "Once we got engaged I realized I needed a place to live..."???? A man who just weeks out from the wedding gives her a tour of a gutted house, with no electricity. What father says, "Sure! You can marry my daughter like that!" Just unbelieveable to me that they, such 'loving' parents, wouldn't ask the couple to wait until they had their own place to live.

Has anyone seen a really nice, formal pic of Kendra and her bridesmaids? The only ones I've seen are only part of the group? Those are always my favorite.

I'm actually surprised at the numbers for the episode of Joe & Kendra's wedding, considering that it had been shown before. The numbers were less for the episode of "Kendra's Birthday Surprise." I didn't watch it but can't believe there was anything new that people hadn't seen or heard before.

Did you hear when Jim Bob said that Kendra was "gorgeous?"
She certainty is gorgeous! It's just that I've never heard Jim Bob say the same thing about their daughters......Kendra's mom looks like a very sweet and pretty lady....I have to wonder how old Kendra's parents were when they conceived her.

Did anyone notice when Kendra tried on her wedding dress at the Caldwell home and her mom broke down in tears---Michelle brought them tissues but STILL had her cellphone tucked under her left armpit? She is more connected to her phone than her children, I am sorry to say.

What father says, "Sure! You can marry my daughter like that!"

A father who looks at the bank account of Jim Bob and "celebrity" status of the Duggars and thinks "Oh, boy! We've hit the jackpot!"

Even if JB controls ALL the money as part of some kind of "Duggar Family Trust" (never confirmed, although he and Michelle have at least two trust accounts in their names), Joe & Kendra are going to have a decent house to live in and plenty of free time to make sandwiches.

Josiah and rappelling friend practicing the ring stunt at 1am..oh wait what happened to everybody being under lock and key in the big house at night

Kendra's Mom seemed to be really proud of her daughter shoving wedding cake in Joe's face. She said she encouraged Kendra to do it. ?? I guess when you play a game & see how many marshmellows you can hold in your mouth without choking, shoving cake in someone's face is nothing.

Just got around to watching this episode. I thought it was interesting that Jessa and Jana didnt get the meatballs made right. So staged. How many times have they supposedly made meatballs? A hundred,I'm sure. I also thought is was odd how at dinner Jinger never spoke at all, just kept eating. Jeremy did all the talking, she never said a thing to Kendra or Joe. Jinger seems so suppressed and quiet, which I never thought was her personality. Maybe she will perk up when she has her baby. Since she apparently does nothing with her time in Laredo, she has to be bored out of her mind.
